Line doesn’t lock in! + update!
*update* I got a new line from Auto Zone figuring it was worth a shot. Sure enough, it fit and locked into place effortlessly. It’s got a different profile than the OEM line. The new line is a [Dorman 628-216]. Good luck out there.I HATE writing a bad review, but I had the same problem as one of the other reviewers. I have extensive experience in automotive repair and it’s super irritating to go through the whole entire install and have the original line not lock into the slave cylinder. I too used the proper tool to remove the line, and my original fitting is also flawless. Super irritated with this! I even went so far as to pull the original keeper out of my old, worn out slave cylinder and same issue. Can’t wait to spend hours filing down the fingers like the other reviewer did. Hope it works, otherwise this tranny is coming back out and I’ll be livid.Clutch install went as easy as it should and the clutch and pressure plate seem great, it’s just this damned stupid slave cylinder flaw. I’ll update if I can figure an easier way than wasting hours filing that keeper.

You get what you pay for!
Clutch fit fine but slave cylinder left me cussing! The hydraulic line would push into the fitting but would not lock in. Had to use super small needle noise pliers and dental pick to remove retaining clip in slave then hand sand it then reinstall test fit line again then keep repeating until line would lock in! Added hours to the job, you get what you pay for. And no my line was not damaged I used correct tools for removal it was a manufacture defect.

Great clutch bundle for the money
Came fast and great price. Reading the reviews that says you need a Doberman clutch line from the clutch slave cylinder to the reservoir because the fittings don't lock in place, I was able to use the factory clutch line with this slave cylinder just find and tested the pedal numerous times to make sure it stays in place without popping out or leaking. Drove it for 500miles to break in the clutch and rechecked if anything was leaking but nope dry as it should be and no noises from the clutch area.

Make sure your clutch line locks into new slave cylinder before install.
Clutch itself was fine. As for the slave cylinder, the factory clutch line doesn't lock into it. Thanks to previous reviews, found that Dorman 628-216 did indeed resolve the issue without having to pull the transmission a second time.

Go to Auto Zone or O'Reilly's
I liked everything about the kit except my line wouldn't couple to new bearing. Had to remove transmission again and get another slave cylinder and bearing. Which is why I brought this kit was my factory slave cylinder and bearing had failed me at 225000 miles. Not happy!

Beware, waste of money and time
Do not bother buying this clutch. Go to auto zone and get a clutch kit and a flywheel with a lifetime warranty for $40 more. Mine didn't even make it a year. Got 13,000 miles on it before it started slipping so bad I had to replace it. Pilot bearing isn't even a bearing. It's a bronze bushing that digs into you input shaft. Throwout bearing started making noise after 2 months. Over all, a big waste of time and money. Replacing it went as planned but having to do it all over again a year later is uncalled for. The company's phone is disconnected and their other number just rings. No response to emails. $40 isn't a huge savings when coming to a clutch, save yourself the aggravation and get something worth your money

Box full of crap
I ordered my clutch kit in early January. I did a lot of research to make sure I got what I needed. I bought the kit with everything from the flywheel to the clutch master cylinder. My friend who is a master certified tech and a Ford trained transmission builder installed it for me in February. Well in March I drove it, parked it the went back layer on to drive again and the clutch pedal was hard as a rock. Amazon, for customer service reasons, sent me another part. Megaparts wouldn't do jack. Nothing. Zilch. Exact send an email. Thanks guys. Please go somewhere else to fund tour cluch parts. Save yourself the headache and expense of having to redo the same job because of junky parts.
