We tried a couple of other brands that claimed at least their boxes to be dishwasher safe without success. Even tried it a second time and hand washed only. No luck. This box though is PERFECT for my preschooler! He can open it on his own but it doesn’t spill. We wash it in the dishwasher and it still closes as well now as it did when we bought it a few months ago. Used about twice a week. For an adult or a big eater, you might need two.

I have two of these for my daughter's school lunches. They are small and the perfect size for her lunch proportions. The lid goes on easy for her(pre k) and they are easy to wash. The utensils are good for a child and easy to clean. The cover to hold the utensils is the only thing I dislike cause it holds in moisture unless you hand dry it. But it's strong, easy to clean, and child accessible.

This is my daughter’s preferred lunch box. We have had it a few weeks now, used every other day and have had no leaks. It holds more food than she (5 years old) can eat at lunch.

Small bento box for children. Comes as described. Only three different sections. Would have rated higher but the silverware are very flimsy and the plastic piece that keeps the silverware contained (it’s like a little door), broke on my middle daughters bento box and I could not fix it. So now we have to put her silverware in a bag so it doesn’t get lost. Does the job, not super good quality. You get what you pay for.

These work wonderfully for my kids lunches. The snaps on the sides are easy enough for the kids to open independently. They are leak proof, and I like the center sauce holder. I liked them so much I bought a second set. Nice to have multiples on hand. I would highly recommend these.

I use these for my lunches for work and they are great! Love the separate compartments. Easy to snap shut and haven't had any issues with leakages
