Great pate
Used to have this pate in Portugal and happy to find it for sale here. Is a little on the small side for cost but makes up for things with delicious taste and reminders of holiday.

Excellent Sardine Paté
This is the authentic sardine paté offered with bread in Portuguese restaurants and cafés. It is delicious and very light. Serious flavour for something so light too. On toast or crispbread it makes either a great light lunch or a simple tasty snack. It would do well as party food too, I'm sure. The portion is good for sharing too. Great value for money

Great but tiny
Did a portuguese evening (lockdown 3 has been VERY boring so had a different country buffet every Saturday. Portugal was hard! I bought these thinking they were full size tins (my mistake for not reading the small print). In fact they are tiny - each is an individual portion essentially. However a little goes a long way. Very tasty. Brought back good memories of when I could travel further than the local supermarket!

Delicious and worth the postage.
My daughter used to eat this as a small child, during holidays in Portugal. I saw the pate on Amazon and couldn’t wait to surprise her with some. As a 23yo she was delighted to receive the pate, and had not forgotten the taste from years ago. She said the sardine pate tastes as delicious as it did 20 years ago. Well worth the postage, just to see the smile on her face.

Tastes great - but a bit too pricey for me!
I fell in love with sardine paste in Portugal and have tried to source it here for some time. I bought this product hoping it would match up to that I've tried abroad...... ...and yes it does. It is very nice and I love it on sourdough toast for brekkers or brunch...(imagine with a few olives and an ice cold beer).....but it is VERY expensive. Currently on offer at 99p for x 4 the tasty Lidl sardine pate/paste is an absolute winner!!! Spend the savings on the ice cold beer :)

Nice to have something to eat from Portugal
Well done for getting this to me ahead of schedule. Nice to have something to eat from Portugal. Product was very well packaged but a little pricey to be honest considering you can get a multipack of about 8-10 of these for about 1.5 Euro in the Intermarche in Albufiera and most other shops. Would have bought again but will do without now as price has gone from £6.90 plus free delivery to £8 plus free delivery. Price should be going down with current exchange rate.
