Nice grip on dart barrel. Found the stems to be too small for me. Reasonable set of darts.
Well packaged set of darts that come as a complete set of barrels, stems and flights. The barrels are nice and you get a nice grip with the lined barrel. Stems are supposed to be pro grip shafts. They felt too smal for my personal choice but there is nothing wrong with them. The flights are branded after Dmitri van den Burgh so if you are a fan then these are just up your street. Also provided is a case and a voucher for a darts counter. The case is as expected and I never bothered with the voucher. Some may find this useful as an app on their phone but board and chalk is fine for me. Overall 4 stars. If your a fan then these will be good. As a casual dart player they are fine but cheaper non branded darts might be a better option.

Not Actually Van Den Bergh’s Darts – Reasonable But Nothing Special
As with any other darts, these pro-player-endorsed darts won’t turn you into a pro. Darts is one of those sports where equipment makes a minimal difference to your performance and results. I’ve tried 40+ sets of darts over the last five years, and I can’t say any have noticeably improved my game. That said, some darts will naturally suit (or not suit) your grip and throw style. As such, I will review these darts on build quality and showcase their specs and features so you can work out whether these may suit you. The set I ordered was the 23g version. I thought these were the ones Van Den Bergh uses in the PDC; however, after some research, it turns out that these are different darts altogether, with VDB’s name and face slapped on as an ‘endorsement’. They are a different shape and have a completely different grip pattern to the “Gen 2” darts he actually uses. These particular darts appear to be an Amazon-exclusive model; don’t expect to get the darts he uses when you buy these. The set shipped with a decent faux leather pouch, as well as three sets of short stems, as well as three sets of standard-shaped flights, which was appreciated at this price. All three barrels weighed in at exactly 23.0g, according to my scales, which is good consistency from Target. Barrel dimensions: 6.5mm thickness (throughout) 53.8mm length (not including point) These are long barrels, so they suit the short included stems better than medium or long stems. What I will say is these darts do fly cleanly through the air. When combined with the long shape and grip placement, I think this dart is best suited to a thumb and two-finger grip, with one finger at the rear and one near the front of the barrel; the dart is too long to work well with a single-finger grip. At 23g, the weight is quite versatile and is a good starting point for most throwers. In retrospect, I’d probably go with the lighter 22g for my throw. While the dart appears well made and is attractive to look at, it’s not a particularly complex barrel and doesn’t utilise any of the special grip technologies that Target is known for. It has no coating and is simply a mix of standard ring grip (rear) and shark grip (front). The shark grip isn’t nearly as harsh as some I’ve tried from other brands and plays very much like the standard ring grip. Overall, these are well-constructed darts that don’t stand out in any noticeable way. Personally, unless you really like the look of these, I’d opt for a cheaper set of tungsten darts with ring grip running the length of the barrel, which will probably give you identical results. Here, I think you’re paying a premium for the association with a professional who doesn’t even use these darts. I’d rate these a 3.5/5, but 3/5 is the closest I can get with the star ratings. They definitely don’t justify a higher rating, considering the large list of better-value alternatives.
