Better than expected
I am beyond impressed, the angles and thickness of glass are well thought out. This is a very professional kit. I feel like it's Christmas 🎁 Update I've ran about 10 distillations with this so far and I'm impressed, I've clanked this stuff together a few times and it's withstood stupidity FS. 10/10

Great piece of lab equipment.
This works great. The joints fit together really well. I went ahead and got stainless clips, as the plastic don't stand up to heat as well. Done about 4 distillations through this, has been doing the job.

Really happy
No flaws in the glass. Everything was there. My only complaint was that they shoved the thermometer into the condenser and until I got it out I wasn't sure either it or the condenser was going to break. Yet it came out and there were no problem, so eh.. what can you say? Good deal for such good equipment.

Good beginning glassware
Everything in the set works and works well. It's just missing some quality: -the inner walls of the condenser are pretty thick, so it's hard to get good heat transfer, even with very cold coolant. -there's a low just before the condenser that tends to form pools of condensate. If you're looking for really high-end glassware, I'd get some Labglass. This definitely is good on a budget, though.

This kit is a high-quality bargain
I ordered the 500ml distillation kit in March and it was delivered in nine days. The kit is ridiculously well packaged and it took about 15 minutes to cut away all the packaging. I think the packaged kit would survive a drop from a second-story window. The glass shows no flaws. The pieces all fit together well and the joints are all tight. I've tested the kit and it works fine. I used an electrically-heated sand bath to distill water. I also applied a butane flame (using a wire gauze with a ceramic center) to reflux water for 30 minutes. This kit is a real bargain for $31.99 and free shipping.

Great Basic Setup
This is a great basic setup if you're starting a home lab and/or want to be able to do simple distillations without spending a ton of money. Everything came packed well and nothing was broken or cracked, it has everything you need (except a lab stand) to get started distilling, made with borosilicate glass as it should be, and the 24/40 joints which are the most common so you can upgrade to a nicer condenser later if you want like I will eventually, and use any other 24/40 glassware with it however you want (fractionating column if you want to do fractional distillation, you can do reflux setups with this, etc.) I'm glad I bought this, as I was looking at other kits or buying each piece individually which would have been FAR more expensive. I use it with a little water pump I bought on here for very cheap to feed water to and from the condenser from a bucket of water. Very, very happy with this as a basic kit to get started and possibly upgrade with a nicer condenser down the road, it does the job for sure.

Thermometer is useless
It is functional except for the thermometer doesn't work. Very disappointed because it is a better setup than my last one, except I can't get an accurate temp because the thermometer doesn't work. Will you send me a working thermometer?
