Firefly Complete Series - 15th Anniversary Edition [DVD] [2017]

I loved this series years ago and was thrilled that I could get whole series. I binge watched the lot . Great

I have seen the film 3 or 4 times never the series till now action romance seriously a must for sci-fi fans.

Watched this on my hubby's recommendation because he knows I love Nathan Fillion, this is a really great series that I will watch again and again, namely because it has Nathan Fillion in it! Highly recommend.

A Cult classic... with overtones of southern rebels, a Bladerunner mish-mash of cultures and a plot set to develop into something epic, it's like riding a bike downhill in summer with your partner on the handlebars..... they shoulda made more episodes but that is all history now.... there is more to this series than most in a fully imagined universe of possibilities with a strong cast with depth of character in every case... no more info as it's SO worth not spoiling it for those unaware of it's existence.....enjoy it!

This show it outstanding and I'm still mad that there's only one season. 100% would recommend

Love this series. The actors are brillant and the stories just flow, you forget that they are acting as you get so immersed in the stories. Shame there is no more.

So sorry this series was pulled. Love the way westerns and sci-fi are brought together and the concept that Chinese culture will one day become a dominant feature of the human species.

This review is not about Firefly itself - which I love - but this version, celebrating the 15th Anniversary. The only difference between this and my original box set is the cover - everything else is the same. Except it was supposed to contain some ‘extras’: 3 postcards, a poster and some stickers - which did not arrive with this box set, and nor did it arrive with the replacement box set kindly sent out by Amazon when I complained. The Description on Amazon does say ‘for a limited time’ - but as other stuff is included in that limited time list (incidentally, included on the original box set DVDs, too), I expected the ‘extras’ to still be sent out with the DVDs. I’ve only given 2 stars because of my disappointment over the missing items - twice. But i’m also feeling very cheated by the advertising blurb - and am returning both box sets back to Amazon to get my money back. There’s still a bit of wear on my original Firefly Boxset - so I’ll wait a while longer and use other sources for my postcards, poster and stickers. Other than that - I remain a loyal Browncoat !!!

Took a while to get here from the UK, they should have mentioned that you need multi region player to make it work.

This show was cut down before it had a chance to reach its prime. It's a great show with a loveable cast of misfits.

I was not aware of the different regions for DVD's i thought it automatically loads dvd's in your region.
