This dino RC truck is a great option for both indoor and outdoor play. The compact size makes it easy to store or transport and the extra features are tons of fun for kids who love dinosaurs. To get this truck moving you'll need to supply 2 AAA batteries for the remote. There are 2 rechargeable batteries for the truck included plus a little charger that needs to be plugged into a USB port. Since the truck only takes 1 battery to operate, one can be charging while the 2nd is in use, greatly extending possible play time which is a huge win for excited kids! The steam feature just requires adding a small amount of water to the port on top of the dinosaurs head then pressing the stean button on the remote. This activates dino sounds and a light as well. It takes 5 or 10 seconds for the steam to start coming out at first and it will continue until you press the button again to stop it. For driving this truck, the remote is simple and kid-friendly. It's a nice size for even my 6 yr old to operate and has the usual front/back and left/right toggles. It goes fast enough to be exciting without being too difficult for kids to keep up with controlling. It handles great on indoor flooring (both hard wood and carpet) and on bumpy outdoor terrain as well. Overall, this is a great toy for any kid who is interested in RC and/or dinosaurs, whether new to RC or experienced. Fun to drive and fun features. Decent battery life with the brilliant addition of a back-up battery! I can't find anything to not love about this truck.

I thought it was gonna be bigger. The pictures make it look bigger. I didn't look at the measurements before I got it. Overall not something I would buy again.

My nephew was literally playing with it outside on flat terrain and the two from wheels came off… It was a birthday gift and I was so embarrassed I couldn’t even fix it for him. BROKE WITHIN MINUTES of him playing with it!

Pretty tough little remote control dinosaur vehicle. It’s a nice size, smaller than many RC toys, at around 8” long and 6” wide – so it doesn’t take up a lot of room. There’s an on/off switch on both the vehicle and the remote. It’s very responsive to the remote control with two thumb levers. The lever that controls forward and reverse is turned facing forward and the lever controlling the wheel turns is facing the side, which was helpful in our four year old learning to operate it. The only other button on the remote control operates the sound, lights, and spray. We’ve opted to not use the water for spray because we don’t want the mess. The sound/lights will keep going until you push the button again to turn them off. The vehicle is very fast which challenges our kids to think faster in using the turn lever to avoid hitting things. This has bounced off just about everything in our home and it hasn’t hurt the vehicle or our home yet. It comes with two rechargeable batteries for the vehicle but none for the remote. You have to remove the battery to charge it which requires a screw driver provided, so that’s an inconvenience. The charging cord is short but works with a desktop docking station we have so that’s not an issue. Our dinosaur enthusiast has thoroughly enjoyed it.

Got this for the grandkids. They love it! They have had so much fun with it!
