Nice and warm, well made, only shrink a small bit. I wear size 12 shoes, but I ordered the socks in the X-Large size as the small shrinking is enough that the socks can become too small, so make sure you order a larger size to make up for that shrinkage. Nice Warn Sock.

These are a little pricey but you get what you pay for. These socks are warm, wick away sweat, and VERY comfortable. Well worth the price if you are on your feet for a long time and out in the cold. But, due to their material, they are still comfortable if you have to go inside for a while as well.

Large size fit my size 13 foot, no problem. I wear them at night due to cold feet but not as warm as I thought it would be.

These were a gift for my boyfriend. He had a pair that had holes all in them so was in desperate need of a new pair. He loves these and says they keep his feet very warm.

They are comfortable, moisture wicking, and add some cushion similar to an insole. They are thick so well worn shoes or a half size bigger will be necessary.

Heavy thick socks. Extremely warm in below 0 weather. Unfortunatelythey take several days to dry after hand washing.

The socks fit great the upper part is made wonderfully the bottom is just thinner than I expected but it worked for our hunting season here and Northwest texas.

These socks fit my husband perfectly and with someone who always has cold feet these fit the bill. Very warm and well made. Will definitely order more of these.

These are easily the best made winter socks I've ever owned. A lot of thought has gone into their design and construction, down to a slight thinning of the weave on the arch where most shoes tie up. While they're not made to be beautiful the overall impression is very pleasant. A big surprise, considering the price and the high wool content was that these beauties are made in USA. I liked them so much I purchased another pair. It's later winter in southern Australia and the weather has turned quite warm, so I doubt I'll get too much wear out of them this season. If they resist pilling and wear they'd warrant 7 stars, they're that good. Amazon's size guide suggested X-large, but at 11.5US I am right at the top of the Large range and the socks fit perfectly. Previous experience with US socks in X-large indicates that it's better to be at the top of the size range in socks rather than at the bottom of the next size up. None of the American socks I've purchased previously (not necessarily made there) have come close to these Carhartts in quality.
