I don't write many reviews on Amazon, but I really like these hangers. Wanting to save space in my closet, I had purchased a bunch of the velvet-covered-style hangers. But I found these too be way too frustrating. The velvet made it very hard to slip the hangers in and out of the clothes because it kept getting caught. And I had never had trouble with clothes falling off hangers to the floor of my closet. I decided that I wanted the space-saving feature of slim hangers without the velvet, and I found these hangers on Amazon. I wanted smooth thin hangers that were just like the velvet ones but without the velvet, and these are it. I think they are fantastic. Unlike the similar Mainstays white hangers I had found at Walmart, which were too thin, these hangers are stiff enough and sturdy enough to not feel flimsy. They are also very smooth, which, in addition to allowing them to slide in and out of shirts easily, make them safe to hang stockings on to dry without getting snagged on little pieces of plastic sticking out. The hook also swivels, so if you put a shirt on it one direction and you decide you want the shirt facing another way, you can just swivel the hook. They are also sturdy enough for pants. The hangers all sit at the same height when hung, and so my closet looks incredibly neat now. It's very refreshing to step into a neatly organized closet in the morning, and I don't have to stress about needing any extra time to pry the hangers out of my clothes. The only thing I wish about the hangers is that they came in white. These are a darker cream color. But that's a minor thing compared to how happy I am about the hangers. I would encourage anyone to purchase these hangers who wants the space-saving feature of slim hangers without the annoying snagging of velvet.

I've purchased the black, "flocked" hangers that look similar to this, and within a few months they all started breaking at the "neck". These hangers, however, are incredibly sturdy, and none have broken. I like these hangers because they are flat, and you can fit more clothes in the closet. They are a tad slippery for clothes that like to slip off, but other than that they are great. I plan to convert my entire closet to these hangers. Also, I travel quite a bit, and I leave my clothes on hangers so that I can just pull from the suitcase and hang up in the hotel. These hangers have performed well in my travels. Very strong and nothing broken. I highly recommend.

I gave these only 4 stars because the ones I received do not swivel as stated. I'm ok with that...in fact I prefer non swivel, but if swiveling is your thing, then these are not for you. They are slim and strong and clothes hang nicely on them. They blend in color and size with beige and ivory ones I already have so the closet looks nice even though the color is a bit more yellow than ideal. I am ordering more of these and also have matching flocked ones for items that would tend to slip off a regular hanger.

**Updated review after ordering second box**Very disappointed with my second shipment of these hangers. I received a brown Amazon box filled with loose hangers that looked to have been previously used and/or dumped on the ground. Sent them back for a refund. They are great hangers if you get them “new in box”.*Original Review*They are great slim hangers that don’t get “caught” on the insides of your shirts when you’re trying to hang them up. (I’m looking at you, other slim hangers with the flocking/velvety texture.)

I wanted to replace our white plastic hangers with slimmer-profile hangers and these are perfect. I've used velvet hangers in the past but I (and especially my husband) find them annoying for certain items that I want to take off the hanger easily (that aren't a slip off risk). These are the perfect alternative - they give you the same space-saving benefits and are not so slick that more delicate items/straps fall off - I haven't had any issues with them breaking or not holding onto clothes. Note that I did order a few packs, and one of them from a separate order seems to have a slightly different hue of beige - not a deal-breaker for me since it's hard to tell in the closet when clothes are on them. It may be less likely to happen if ordered all at the same time.

Hangers appear to be well made and durable. One of the 50pcs arrived broken, so i'll consider that acceptable. What was a bit odd was many of the hangers have smudges and dark discolorations on them. I tried wiping them off, but they remain. Not a big deal, but if you order a lighter color hanger, they are noticeable, almost making them look a bit dirty.06/22/19 Update: Hangers are doing well, but I dropped one of the floor today and it broke! A bit surprised. A 5ft fall onto a laminate floor and the hanger (bottom straight portion) broke. Maybe not so durable afterall...

These hangers were exactly what I was looking for. The metal part does not initally twist very easily, but they do swivel as advertised once you loosen them a bit. Happy with the product and with the service.

I like the space saving feature as well as the fact that they are not flocked. I hang my clothes by outfit and the flocked make it hard to slide slacks off the hanger. Often the flocked hangers break when taking clothes off. These hangers allow me to slide the slacks off with out and problems and after 1 month none have broken.
