I’ve been using the BYOMA Clarifying Serum for a few weeks now and it’s quickly become a staple in my skincare routine. I have acne-prone skin that also gets irritated easily, so I’m always cautious with “clarifying” products—but this one struck the perfect balance. It’s lightweight, absorbs quickly, and doesn’t leave any sticky residue. What I love most is that it helps calm active breakouts while also strengthening my skin barrier. My redness has noticeably decreased, and my skin looks more even and less congested without feeling stripped or dry. I also appreciate that it doesn’t burn or tingle like a lot of acne serums do. It feels gentle but still effective, especially for daily use under moisturizer and sunscreen. If you have acne-prone or combination skin and need something that clarifies without destroying your barrier, this is definitely worth trying.

This is one of my favorite BYOMA skincare products. It’s one of the only skincare products that helps my acne. It also doesn’t cause any irritation for my skin. There’s no scent to it. I also find that this small bottle last about 3 months which is worth the price for the skincare product. It’s been a consistent part of my skincare routine and I will definitely be buying this product again!

5 stars and ONLY because I used a generic brand of adapalene gel and it WRECKED my face while this seems to be helping it. I have hormonal acne and the damage that adapalene did will be a long road to recovery, so I dont expect miracles right now, however, this serum hasn't made things worse. Im happy with it. Seems to help clarify without my skin feeling harsh and plays well with other things I am using in my routine rotation. No crazy smell and absorbs well. I like it. Update! Its been over a month and this has significantly helped my recovery. Gentle BUT suoer effective of keeping my skin balanced and acne at a minimal.

I've been using this product for a few weeks and I am really enjoying it! For reference, I have normal skin with an oily skin tone. Normally, I do not breakout however, for some reason I began getting a pimple around my chin or jaw (seems to be hormonal). I also get fungal acne during warm weather due to sweating at the gym. So far, I have not gotten any pimples or funglw acne. And let me tell you I've been sweating at the gym- stairmaster for an hour. I'm hoping I continue to receive good results. The product is very light- almost like a toner. I like this because in the summer I stay away from heavy skincare products. I use it after my toner and been loving it. Not drying or irritating! I will definitely be buying it again once I finish this bottle. Also, a great value!

I have repeatedly bought this product. Byoma makes amazing skincare. I have sensitive skin but this is super effective on my acne.

I have oily, acne-prone skin, and most clarifying products either dry me out or make me red and irritated. This one did neither. The texture is lightweight and layers beautifully under moisturizer and SPF. It feels slightly tacky at first but absorbs well after a minute or two. The real MVP ingredients here are the Tri-Ceramide Complex and Blue Tansy—they help calm inflammation and support my skin barrier while still targeting congestion. I noticed fewer breakouts around my chin and jaw, and my overall texture looks smoother. The PHA + zinc combo exfoliates gently without any burning or flaking. I use it every other night, alternating with a hydrating serum, and I’ve had no irritation at all.

I’m currently in my 30s & just had the worst hormonal chin breakout since I was a teenager! All of my typical treatments didn’t work & more pimples were popping up each morning. I bought this as a Hail Mary. I applied the serum before bed the day it came in. The next morning, my pimples were no longer red and no new pimples showed up! They were also shrinking! This serum saved me weeks of stress and not feeling my best!

I was really surprised to find out that this product has a VERY strong minty smell to it.. Sadly that makes it hard for me to be able to use this product, it does make my skin feel very nice and hydrated in combination with other product from Byoma but I’m thinking maybe this one is just a miss for me because of the strong smell, hopefully I’ll be able to return it :(
