Good Ideas Set of 4 Stainless Steel Hob Covers (977) Hob Protector Covers

These are good looking, sturdy hob covers that are easy to clean and TO maintain that shine. You just have to be careful not to do what I have done in the past - turn on one hob and remove the cover from the wrong hob!!

Looks good, shiney finish rather than matt. Good price and delivered promptly.I have a bad habit of turning on the wrong ring on the cooker and burning the ones i hadnt taken off, theses ones didnt seem to discolour so quickly as a different set i had!

definitely improve the look of the cooker and cleaner looking.others have mentioned that they don't quite fit and although I have the same problem, as in slightly small and don't sit over the plate fully, have not found this to be too much of an issue as they do cover the plate but just don't sit perfectly.the only issue I feel is worth mentioning is that if you placed something on top of the cover it will rock slightly as the cover doesn't fit fully over the plate. that said why would you put something on top of the cover in the first place.the covers sit adequately to give the impression they fit fully, so visually have the same effect as if they fitted perfectly.1 star lost as product description needs to be clearer.Good value and quality is good.

Finally arrived yesterday as first shipment got lost in Transit, supplier very quick to respond and send a replacement with no issues at all. They look great and am very pleased with them, gives my cooker a hole new look.

These covers were not expensive and so in that sense they are reasonable value for money. However, they are more lightweight than I would have liked. As some other reviewers have commented, they sort of sit on the burners rather than fitting snugly, and my burners are the bog-standard size. Disappointed that one of the covers has quite a long scratch on it - surely the seller could have carried out a quick quality control check before posting it? The scratch was not difficult to spot. (I couldn't be bothered with the hassle of sending it back.) It was also unnecessary and unhelpful to put an extremely sticky barcode label right in the middle of one of the covers - difficult to remove, and could have so easily been put on the back of the item instead.

I purchased these having read previous reviews and thought I'd give them a try. I'm so glad I did. The quality, description and service were everything I expected and more. So if like me, we are not happy with the look of your electric hob and like everything to look good, these are for you. You won't be disappointed. They are very easy to maintain too, just use soap and water, no abrasives and they'll come up as new every time :)

They look great on the cooker. One of the small one`s a bit small but no hard ship. I would defiantly recommend them

These covered my four electric plates just fine and looked great at the start. However I’m finding them hard to clean and they don’t look so shiny new quite quickly. Be careful not to put one over a ring that is still warm as it can leave scorch marks which don’t come out. I suggest cleaning these regularly. Ok for the money but I’ve preferred ones that have colours and designs on as things don’t show up as much.
