Best headphones I have discovered yet.
I am very peculiar about headphones. I'll explain why these are the best I have found so far. First off, I have never cared for wireless headphones. "Typical" wireless headphones fall out/off when I sweat, period. Well, they used to. These have a bit of weight to them, which I find outstanding, they are over-the-ear, and they are behind the neck. Which means they STAY IN PLACE while running/working out (and they sound decent too). I want to point out the cons of other headphones to show why I've come to my conclusion. Over the head bands tend to fall forward or backwards on your head while working out. Over the ear without a band headphones fall out/off of my ear while running. In-ear headphones fall out of my ear after sweating. I've had behind-the-neck headphones that were wireless that "wound" up for easy storage and when I wore them, they would "wind" up and away off my ear immediately (completely useless for working out). I hated those the most. So, I've mostly stuck with corded behind-the-neck headphones because they were cheap and they stayed put on my head. And the cheap headphones I had, the cord was too long, so it would always get in the way, or get caught on something all the time (like public toilets, yuck) and the sounds was mediocre at best. But they worked. However, these solve ALL of those problems. The great: The stiff and foldable "strap" behind-the-neck keeps the speakers over-the-ear in place and they don't rotate at all on my head. The weight of the speakers keeps them from bouncing off my ears. The padding is soft and good. While I was running, I didn't have to think about the cord swinging around or re-adjusting them due to movement, I almost forgot they were there and was just listening to music. It was amazing. The bass in these are pretty great for the price. The battery life is amazing. It feels like days of watching YouTube and working out before it needs to be charged. I don't normally mess with the buttons on the side, but I do know that when I am watching Youtube and I accidentally press the speaker button, the YouTube video pauses for me, and the volume buttons work as expected. So, there is great functionality for those that use it. And they stay in place while running. Did I mention that was the most important thing to me? As long as these are made, I will buy them whenever I need headphones. Now for the not-so-good: As others have mentioned, they do seem to be made for smaller/normal type heads. I typically wear a 7 5/8 hat, meaning I have a pretty big dome, and most of the time I don't feel the "tightness" of the strap hugging the back of my head, but it does happen once in a while. I know that sounds kind of weird that it sounds like my head changes shape sometimes (I don't think it does), but it is what it is, and it only happens once in a while. Another nit-picky thing is that it takes between 3 and 5 seconds to turn off and on. Which granted isn't a big deal, but I sometimes miss the first (up to 20) seconds of a video (while watching 2x speed) and it's a tiny annoyance. I have to realize they are off, hit the button to turn them on, wait for the "doo-doo-doo" (increasing higher in pitch), and then connect, "beep" (and it connects really fast as well). Last little con, my ears were kind of warm while running. It's not lost on me, that I can have medium sized, cushioned, over the ear headphones and not have that act as an insulator for heat for my ears (unless there is some miraculous new technology). I just wanted to point it out. Again, these small annoyances are miniscule in comparison to the utility and sound of these headphones for the price. I absolutely love these headphones! UPDATE: I've ran a few times now, and I think because the volume button has the slightest amount of play, it almost sounds like there is something lightly bouncing around in the right ear (the side with all the buttons) while running. I am learning to ignore this. It's not terribly distracting for me, but it's there. I still love these headphones so far. UPDATE-UPDATE. I haven't run for a while and recently got back into it. I haven't noticed any of the "something lightly bouncing around." I actually forgot about that noise until I stumbled on my review again. So, your mileage may vary with that noise. And by the way, almost a year later, I still absolutely love this headset. So, pro-tip for the manufacturer, a little gasket or rubber piece for the volume button would make a nearly perfect headset. 3rd Update: I bought 2 more sets, so I could have a dedicated set for my computer, another for my workouts, and I got one for my son. (I recommend labeling them somehow). I did notice my oldest set's charging port or the charging cord (micro-usb) seemed to have gotten a little worn and had a harder time finding the right spot to charge. However, the world is moving to USB-C, as they were on the charging port for the new pairs I ordered. And I am not going to buy a micro-usb cord just to try on my older headset. So I am just going to use the old headset until it doesn't charge anymore, then get a new one with USB-C. But the good news is that it should be about 3 years for original headset (and potentially longer with a new cord).

Decent sound and volume for the price
Hehehe I also got these to replace my Motorola 305s. I think those were the most lamented model of behind the neck headphones ever to be discontinued. I used my two pairs every day at work for almost fifteen years. I kept waiting for the batteries to fail, and they just kept on going. Every day without fail. Good news: Although these haven't stood the test the of time yet, I think that I have found the replacements. I have tried quite a few different behind the neck headphones, and have always been disappointed. The sound quality and volume are very good for the price. They paired easily with my phone, and So far, I have not experienced the jitters and intermittent loss of signal that I have found with others. My phone supports a dual connection, and there is no loss when my truck picks up the connection. Although I haven't tried it, I like that these headphones will accommodate two phones. This would have come in handy when I was working. I had a personal phone and a company phone and would have loved to answer both over a single set of head phones. This is something the 305s never did. I am used to behind the neck head phones, and find these quite comfortable. The earpiece covers seem quite durable. I wore out so many "Puffs" on the 305s that I eventually gave up. The headphones stretch to accommodate my large head, and a single ear piece can be readily be comfortably flipped over the ear to answer phone calls. For those of you who are used to the over the head style, these might take a little getting used to. They are comfortable to wear around the neck when not in use, an unobtrusive. Again, for those of you that are not used to wearing headphones around your neck, this may take some getting used to. They are firm around the neck and head, and I doubt they will fall off during strenuous activity. I have not been able to effectively evaluate the noise canceling feature, but calls are clear and crisp, and I have not had anyone (So far) complain about me sounding muddy or distorted on the other end. I get a battery level when I look at the device on my android phone. This is important to me. I charged the unit when I first got it, and so far, am running on the same charge after three days. While this may not seem like a long time, I assure you that I put these things through their paces in that short time. I honestly expected to be disappointed again. It was a pleasant surprise when I wasn't. The only downside for me, is the minimalist controls. (hence four stars out of 5) I'm used to having separate controls for each function. I'm pretty sure, once I get used to the controls that I may like them (almost) as well as the 305s. :D

Amazing Sound in a Ultra Compact Design
Short story: I bought five (5) of these--and will likely buy more! They are of unbeatable quality for the price and ideal for many different uses. But what makes these headphones really shine is their back-of-the-head design which makes them perfect for VR headsets! Long story: I've been looking for a new brand of headphones to replace my aging fleet of Sony DR-BT22 Bluetooth headphones which I have been using for just over a decade now. When these first came out there weren't very many quality Bluetooth stereo headphones available that could fold and fit in the palm of your hand. And with a reproduction frequency range of 17 to 24,000Hz the Sony DR-BT22's still remain some of the best sounding compact headphones around. But they are very flimsy and break rather easily. I've literally gone through over a dozen of these in the last ten years and their lack of longevity prompted me to finally search for a new model to replace my three remaining units that still function. Since the late 1980's my number one standard for headphones has been a frequency response range with a minimum and maximum of 20 to 20,000Hz. This is generally considered the audible range of human hearing. Second, I need headphones compact enough that I can take them everywhere and stash them in close quarters, like a jacket pocket or glove compartment. Lastly, cost: I use multiple sets of headphones for different equipment (computers, cell phones, VR goggles) and different locales (home, work, on-the-go)--so they need to be cost-effective enough that I can purchase multiple units. Enter the Besign SH03: they fit all my criteria, and they sound really good too. Now, even though 20 to 20,000Hz is what the majority of us can hear, each person's hearing is different. So sound quality is really a matter of individual acceptance. The Besign SH03's aren't in the same universe as a Sennheiser HD 650, and they don't sound quite as rich as the Sony DR-BT22's...but they don't need to be either for my daily use. That said, I do find that the Besign SH03 at louder volumes to maintain fuller over-all sound than the Sony DR-BT22's, which tend to rattle more as you oomph up the decibels (probably due to the fact that the construction of the Besign SH03's is much more sturdy and tight than that of the Sony DR-BT22's). And while we're at it, there are two other things that the Besign SH03's are better at than the Sony DR-BT22's: (1) they charge using Micro USB as opposed to Sony's proprietary AC charger; and (2) they fit on the back of your head as opposed to on top of it--this makes using VR goggles much easier and less cumbersome. There's nothing quite like watching Avengers: Endgame on a VR headset using these headphones. And at a cost of under $25 per unit, I purchased three specifically for the three VR headsets that I own...then I got two more to swap during the week listening to music and taking the occasional phone call on at work. I can't say enough about these headphones. They are really a great find here on Amazon. And if you register on-line you can get two years of warranty service on them from Shenzhen Besign Technology Co. Ltd. It's refreshing to have a company that actually communicates with you--I've had a dialog with them for the past couple of days since registering. But as I said, it's really all a matter of individual acceptance...so get you a pair and try it out. For the price and Amazon's return policy you can't go wrong!

Had these for almost 3 years now, still my go to headphones
Ever find an item that just fits your needs perfectly and were sort of shocked about it because it cost a lot less than you'd think it would? This is one of those and one of the happier headphones surprises I've had since they cancelled the Sony Vertical headphones. They're nothing fancy, they're discreet and comfortable, and they have good sound but you can play them low enough to hear your music but still hear your environment clearly. I got two kids and two dogs so that's a pretty important feature for me. If I turn them up they're more than enough to cover back ground noise, but I use a different set for mowing the lawn because while I can hear these while riding my mower it ain't loud enough. I picked up a set of bluetooth buds thinking they could replace these if I just kept one in and then could hear out the other, but I find it too discombobulating. I use the ear buds for the lawn and loud environments since they block outside sound so much better. I use these with my phone and computer religiously. Me and my wife's computer are in the same room about 8' apart and I find it easier to listen to these on low volume because it's enough for me to clearly hear what I'm watching and still be aware/alert to what my wife is doing and if she's trying to get my attention. Battery life is still superb, I picked up a set of the leather cup ones but I didn't find them as comfortable so my daughter stole them and loves them. Not a paid endorsement in any way, I don't even remember the name of the company that makes them all I know is they're my SHO3s because that's what shows up in my connection. OH! Also if it drops connection from a device due to being out of range or something it reconnects seamlessly with no actions on my part. I have yet to find another pair of headphones that is so well behaved with the BT connection. I was poking around to see if there were any new style BT on ears to try and this is STILL the best set I can find here, which is weird but makes me feel like I made the right choice. TL/DR - Headphones good, would recommend highly and with enthusiasm after 3 years of ownership!

REVIEW WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS & WHAT IS RIGHT
GOOD: sound is very crisp when speaker is not firmly pushed into ear. If it is off center and/or held away from the ear the sound is GOOD!!!! Battery seems to last long (stayed on overnight with no seeming loss of power. Bluetooth is GREAT on new phone. when you change volume on the headphone a little window opens on my Samsung phone and shows me the volume level at that moment and it goes up and down to match where you send it to. Folds up to relatively small package. Good. BAD: frame work is too small for any average person's head. Granted, I have to buy XXL hats and could never wear any, but.. this frame is weird and frustrating. 1. the U shaped part that goes around the head rubs against the bones (my skull) behind my ears. TOO SMALL 2. The speakers that are attached to #1 above have a frame work that runs close to the speaker surface , and is used to trap the ear in that slit and let the speakers and the weight of the headphones be held by the ears. Works kind of.. but when it seats against the ear the sound degrades to a speaker without any tweater or midrange. ALL BASS AND NOTHING BUT. I fired up the equalizer on my phone and adjusted the 16KHZ up and down and was unable to make any difference in the muddy sound at all. Possibly the speaker was closing down my ear canal since it was so tight but I was convinced the speaker was defective. Later, I realized if I kind of clipped the unit above my ear a bit so it didn't press directly into my ear, I heard the missing sound. It sounded great... but was unusable for a person with large head. 3. The frame drops down in the back and if you move your head around, it bounces up and down on the back of your neck and hits the center of your shoulder blades. I guess since I could not wear it normally it was unable to clamp tightly and was loose. I wanted to use these for running but it was impossible. I recommend anyone with Large or XLarge or XXLarge head forget about these. If you have a standard size head.. maybe. Anyone that has Small, XSmall or XXSmall head, BUY THESE . THEY WILL WORK GOOD FOR YOU

Comfortable fit, but substandard sound, odd button placement
This was to replace my SoundBot SB221 that I got four or five years ago. These are slightly more comfortable, but sounds noticeably worse. The Soundbot still sounds good but the earpads are now falling apart and cost about as much to replace as the entire headset. Pros: It's comfortable to wear. Light weight, behind the head means I can wear my hats, and it hooks over the top of the ears well enough to to be secure for my daily activities and loose enough to work with glasses. The ear cushions are soft enough. It paired quick and reconnects quick. I was also able to swap back and forth with other sound devices on my phone fast enough to do a direct comparison. Mid: Button layout to me is... odd. Every button is multi-function. I'm OK with that for the power/pair/play/pause/answer/hangup control but not so much with the volume/FF-RW. Press those buttons once for a volume increment and twice to FF/RW and press-hold is used for special functions. Which means you cannot press-hold to ramp the volume up/down or to skip forward/back in a music track only skip to the start/end of the track. There are plenty of times when I want to skip a music track a few seconds not the to start. Cons: The sound, frankly, is bad. Frequency response is OK. But the whole thing is muffled. Not quiet, volume is good for a headset this size, but the sound lacks the clarity of my 4~5 year old existing headset. I'm not expecting JBL or Bose quality sound, but I am expecting better than this. Conclusion: OK if your hearing is worse than mine or you're not as picky as me.

Quality product. Much more comfortable than airpod style earphones
I owned a number of compact Bluetooth earphones. This style is the most comfortable and reliable in my opinion. One piece and foldable - easy to carry and much less hassle than dealing with two separate buds plus a charging case. More comfortable to wear as well and no risk of falling off. For this particular brand and model - build quality is super. The matte finish looks expensive. I owned a similar style earphone from a different brand. This one wins the look and sound quality. One of the nice feature that I didn't find in other units is the ability to pair with two devices at the same time, like one cell phone and one pad/laptop. As shown in the manuel, the two devices can be switched by some button combination. I haven't test this feature yet, so can't comment how well it works. Sound quality is among the best comparing with other sets I have of similar size, no matter listening to music or making a phone call. Noise canceling - mentioned in description. I haven't have this unit long enough to even test how effective it is yet. So can't comment for now. If anything less desirable - there is one multi functional button plus separate volume up/down buttons. Separate volume buttons are great. However, I would rather having more separate buttons for stop/start, forward/backward etc, instead of cramming many actions into one multifunctional button. it is hard to remember all. However, this is just my personal preference.

These are really awesome headphones for the money
These are really awesome headphones for the money. They are super comfortable being they mount behind the head and don't mess up your hair. The sound is impressive to say the least. Nice bass, mid's AND highs. The only problem I can see is that there is noise at high volume levels. When I listen to the sound from my home stereo I simply turn the volume down on the Besign headphones and crank the volume as needed on the surround receiver. This works out great and the sound is crispy and clear. The battery life is outstanding at 25 hours, and for that alone they are worth double the price. A very good bargain to say the least. They do have track & volume controls but they are a wee bit awkward to use as opposed to the Arctic P311 bluetooth headphones which have dedicated buttons on the side of the right side earpiece for volume up, down, and skip track/rewind/fast forward. The Bedesign headphones have a volume up and down button which also serves as track skip and back buttons, but you need to press volume up or down TWICE to get the phones to register a skip/back track command and sometimes the phones simply refuse to acknowledge this command, although it is not too often. Other than this con, they are quite a good value for the money. I have spent quite a few dollars on audiophile headphones so I do have experience with the sound, and I can tell you these sound quite crisp through out all ranges of the frequencies and will astound you with their clarity for this price. They also have quite a cool modern look to them with the black frame and headphones themselves. Also the black patterned fabric over the ear pieces is a nice touch too. I get compliments all the time. They seem to be reliable and I have to admit, I like them quit e abit but I don't use them as my walk around headphones simply because the double button punch requirement for track forward/backward is a bit of a pain and I use my Arctic P311's instead for this. I do however prefer the Besigns for listening to my home receiver and my Playstation 4. In a nutshell these headphones are quite worth the price. In fact, the price is astounding considering how much tech and sound quality they managed to pack into these. Hope that helps.
