The item had stains on it, looks like old ink from the print.

Very pleased with quilt set. I like the material - it is soft and made of a good quality cotton - it should be easy to take care of. The stitching is good and even. No bumps or lumps. The pattern is attractive and the color blue is soft and light. It should fit in with many different color schemes. This is a light weight quilt. It is not a puffy duvet. It was just what I was just what I wanted and should please anyone looking for cotton quilt. I live in the South - it might be too light weight for a cold climate.

Out of the bag its very pretty, once washed, it shrinks significantly and the texture changes. I am a quilter so I was prepared for the cotton to shrink and the batting to puff up amongst the rows of stitching and I still love it. I have washed 4 times and it has started shredding in a few spots, probably because my dogs and cats are on the bed. The king sized pillow covers are humongous, even after washing, I bought 2 king size pillows at Ikea and the shams are a third larger than the pillows.

This is absolutely perfect! The print is high quality and it fits the day bed perfectly.

I now have 3 Laura Ashley quilts and I love them all. They are so pretty, well-made and lightweight which is important to me and they are cotton.
