Works as expected
Installed easily and we had no issues getting it to pair to our Chamberlain opener. Even when temperatures have gotten very cold no issues with it continuing to work correctly.

Works Great on My LiftMmaster
It took a few tries to get the 877MAX keypad to connect - but it was operator error on my part.Once connected it worked flawlessly. I've owned the original version of this and I can't tell the difference in functionality.I'm still finalizing the location of the keypad, but look forward to the convenience and option to open the garage door without the remote unit.I recommend this keypad if you want something that looks and works just like the original version - but at a lesser price point.

Doesn't work fully
The One Button Close function does not work. I have cycled through activating and deactivating the feature many times. The instruction sheet does not provide an instruction on how to use the One Button Function but I tried each button, waited for the blinking to stop and tried another button. I tried each and every button including * and # and ENTER. Then I tried a number button and ENTER and again nothing happened. And yes, the opening function worked just fine.

Updated case design; works with Chamberlain model HD520EV, yellow learn
Item: 877MAX Garage Door Opener KeypadPrice: $21.59 with vendor’s 20% discount on 10 26 23This outdoor mountable remote is very much like the other two or three outdoor mountable remotes I’ve reviewed. Although I see that the sharp edges in the outer cases of older model’s has been been redesigned with rounded edges. The instructions had their ‘translation-issues’ as the wording for ‘holding down until…’ wasn’t clear. It took me multiple tries before I figured out that programming detail. Then things went quickly. I did appreciate that the instructions clearly identified four ‘learning button colors’ as that’s how you input to the remote which system you have. That makes things easy and also lets you know this remote will work with more than just one system. And yes, the 877Max remote is intended as an ‘exterior on-property’ remote. You’ll be able to use this as a door-entry device, able to open your garage door if you’re not in your vehicle. But the ‘877Max’ model can also serve another purpose.I gave one of these to our oldest grandaughter who managed to lose the small sun-visor opener we gave her last year. As an occasional visitor, I figured that she could put this one in her glove center console or glove compartment. The feature is that the 877MAX is large and harder to misplace. It also requires a ‘code’ for activation. So now she has something so large and bulky it’ll be hard to simply lose it. And even if someone somehow gets the remote, they won’t have the code to activate it.

Works with my 10yr old Chamberlain Garage Door Opener
I got this wireless keypad to try with my 10-year old Chamberlain garage door opener. The opener was manufactured 11/2013 and the exact model (part #41AC050-A1) wasn't on the list of compatible models, but it has a purple learn button and was within the date range listed in the compatible models with the purple button.Instructions included in the box were easy to understand, and programming it worked the first time I tried it. I mounted it with the included hardware and it is mounted securely enough. It includes a 9V battery that will be pretty easy to replace when needed. The keypad has a good feel to it and there's a beep each time you press a button. The keypad lights up when you push the first button so it is usable after dark, and if you make a mistake entering the PIN you can just start over and it will use the last 4 digits entered. After you enter the PIN to open the door, the keypad will continue to flash for about 20 seconds, during which time you can press Enter again to close or stop the door, after which time you need to enter the PIN again. This was a very easy way to add a keyless entry to my garage, would recommend!

Only Compatible With The Listed Brands
This keypad only works with the particular listed brands of garage door openers. Not universal. Not mine. It did power up and apparently try to configure. I can't say any more than that.
