Perfect for training

Got this for my 8 year old grandson & he loved it! Immediately started swinging & twirling it! Bo staff is well made and lightweight. The foam padding & carrying bag are both a bonus!

It is light and easy to work with it was my first time working with it. It is very sturdy.

It's brittle thin-walled PCV wrapped in pipe insulation. The end caps are dangerous. The notion that this could be used for training anything other than how to throw a piece of junk into a dumpster is absurd. Save your money and make your own. Any big box hardware store will carry better PVC and denser insulative foam or use a slim pool noodle for the exterior wrap.

If you don't feel like doing that your self, like me.. this is so much fun! I don't even care if it's an overpriced label, it's worth paying the little extra and actually trying it. instead of never actually building your own for cheap and by proxy never trying a bo staff! It'll make anyone feel the the coolest kid with a stick 😎

Feels like a high quality foam wrapped around an aluminum broom stick. But the weight is perfect. Would not recommend performing Katas as rapid halts will bend it. Great for beginners.
