Durable Pen
I work in a manufacturing plant but in my position I always have to have a pen available. For years I have carried around cheap plastic pens that the company provided or I brought from home. I was always breaking them or losing them it seemed though. I have had this pen about ten days now, It has fallen multiple times and it still works. The clip flexes very little and the pen stays in my shirt pocket when not being used. I still carry a cheap plastic company pen as well so if someone says, "Hey, do you got a pen I can borrow?" I can give them that one and not have to worry I might not get it back. My wife collects pens and was a bit hurt when I recieved this pen and it wasn't for her. I already ordered another and plan to give it to her this weekend on our anniversary.

Consider it "raw materials"
First, order whatever "P" brand G2 refills you want and throw away the ink cartridges that come with these pens. Then do whatever form of thread locker you want. I personally prefer to SLIGHTLY deform the threads with either controlled construction or locking pliers or using a spring loaded center punch on the male threads. Chemical thread locker costs money, wears off and is poison, and people put handle pens in all sorts of situations they don't want chemicals. With just a few extra dollars and a few minutes of effort you can have really good, heavy duty pens that you wouldn't be upset loosing.

Quality concern ...update
Although the pen itself is great, my bolt sticks out much more than in photos posted on here and it wobblesThis pen constantly unscrews itself and falls apart

Well made
Smooth action with a nice overall fit & finish. Very heavy which is exactly what I wanted. The included ink cartridges are mediocre, but anyone using a pen regularly will throw in a fisher and be done.

Fun, sturdy pen
I wanted a bolt action pen, and didn’t want to pay boutique prices. This fit the bill! The refills aren’t great, but it’s worth it!

As good as pens costing far more.
I like pens and this one looked like it would be just the thing for high-class writing. It just arrived and it is an excellent and sturdy example of the pen-makers' art. It is solid stainless steel --it weighs a tenth of a pound (1.75 oz) and the bolt action is satisfyingly solid. Moreover, the pocket clip is also stainless steel and is secured to the pen's body with two machine screws.--But describing this writing instrument is not enough for this reviewer. I decided to put it up against a Mont Blanc Classique Rollerball, retail priced at $695.00 (weight: 7/8 oz.).You can see both pens in the photo along with some writing samples. [I just did some squiggles because I didn't want forgers to see my handwriting. Also, my hand-writing stinks.]The Mont Blanc had some problems with "drop-out". Not very bad and the ink never completely stopped. The line is fairly fine and the ink is blue. The SmootherPro shows a heavier black line. No fading or drop-outs, but the ink tended to smear at a couple of points. It must be pointed out, however, that the ink characteristics are due to the ink refill and not the pen itself. Selecting a different refill can potentially solve both of these problems. Mont Blanc refills cost about $17.00 on Amazon. Parker refills for the SmootherPro cost about $6.00 on Amazon. [Prices are for single, brand-name refills. Multi-packs and compatible refills for either pen are significantly less. After careful evaluation, I find that both pens are fine writing instruments. Oddly --perhaps shockingly-- I like the SmootherPro better for several reasons: 1) The weight and feel of the SmootherPro in my hand is very comfortable. 2) There is no removable cap to deal with or lose. 3) The SmootherPro can be comfortably carried in my shirt pocket instead of being locked in my desk drawer. 4) If you ask to borrow my pen, I'll let you use my SmootherPro, rather that having to lie about not having a pen.Everything considered, this is my new favorite pen.

Very nice, heavy pen, with one design flaw
The pen is very nicely machined, feels good in my hands, is reasonably compact for travel use. I really like that it uses standard Parker style refills as that means that quality refills will be easy to find and I won't have to rely on cheap refills that may be impossible to find in the future. The build quality is excellent, so I expect the pen will last for many years. The pen is also heavy, so if you don't like heavy pens, this one isn't for you.The one negative I see is that the bolt action is directly opposite the clip, which as another reviewer mentioned, means that it will poke into you if you have the pen clipped to a shirt pocket. Since I typically don't carry a pen this way, it won't be a problem for me, but it's something to be aware of.Other than that, this pen is very easy to recommend.

Looks nice
Pretty heavy and smoooooooth writing pen. Looks great and I actually like the weight of this pen. My only complaint is the first cartridge busted and ruined a unform top so that was a 60$ bummer.
