Did a test on some mylar bags and it worked well. Its as nice as the one's I've used while working but has that 1/4th the price tag.

I love my sisters so I bought me one. The first time used it popped and we replaced the heat strip. Then that heat strip went out. Bought a pack of 10, used it today and sealed about 15 cookies and have to change the strip again before I can finish! EDIT:since I wrote this review, I have changed strip once and never changed again-works great, love it! (Maybe operator needed lessons!!

Seems good so far, dialing it in to whatever you're sealing is a little tricky. To long and you get holes, not long enough and no seal. Nice it comes with extra replacement whatchamacallits too.🤔🍻

I use this sealer as the first step when I shrink wrap my products. Does the job. Easy to use after practicing for a little bit. Kind of heavy but not too much. Sizer is big which gives you more size options for products.

Just what I need

Arrived with broken pieces - we could see through the misshapen bottom panel that the main large element that generates heat had broken loose somehow. Closer examination revealed that the four points at which it had been attached to the inside of the sealer had all broken, causing it to slide free, and disconnecting wires at one end that made the whole thing work. Had to return it as a result, and won't look at this brand ever again with that kind of shoddy construction.

Flimsy plastic, not metal. Comes with replacement heater and cover. Seems to work fine. Just not durable, and not likely to be long lasting.
