I'd been using a rival brand of NAC for a couple of years, along with glycine, but I have to say that I wasn't feeling any particular benefit from it--but, as it was relatively inexpensive, and since all of the research indicates that there really is a benefit, I kept doggedly on with it. The time came to reorder once again, but Amazon showed out of my usual brand--so, having bought a lot of other supplements from Bulk Supplements, I shrugged and oped for this product in lieu of Old unReliable. Upon receiving and opening it, I found capsules instead of the solid tablets I'd been taking, plus these capsules possessed a curious, maybe even weird, odor--but subsequent research revealed that NAC in fact is supposed to have this odor (so maybe my previous product wasn't as functional, who knows). In any case, I've been taking the Bulk Supplements NAC now for a couple of months and have to say (bearing in mind that such anecdotal accounts are always highly subjective, so take this testimony for what it's worth) that I do find myself feeling a bit more vim and pep, so I'm sticking with the brand.

NAC is very effective with my breathing with clear airway. I purchased this due to large quantity for good price. The pills have a slight yellow color and it smells horrid. I tried it for a couple of weeks (suggested dosage was far higher that my prior brand). It did not seem to do anything leading me to believe that it may not even be NAC. I ordered a different brand ASAP and after taking it for two days saw the typical clearer airways (especially at night) that I am used to having when taking NAC. I missed the return window so could not get my money back. BULK SUPPLEMENTS.com is on my black list.

Love the flavor- hate the odor! I dumped the bottle out thinking maybe there was a dead mouse had gotten packaged- but nothing but big stinky pills. But I feel healthier. Hoping that some NAC CEO of Advertising will reward me for my honesty and astute observation skills. I deserve something!!
