I am usually a steadfast and loyal user of Biossance Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil and rarely find another oil I like as much, so I always come back to it. However, I have had some recent stress breakouts and was on the lookout for products to target this issue. I’ve had good experiences in the past with salicylic acid and tea tree oil as ingredients, so I thought I’d give this a shot.This oil is a pleasant surprise and actually exceeded my expectations. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting that much from a facial oil of this price point but I do like it better than a lot of more expensive oils from high end skincare brands - many of which I have found to be too heavy or rich for my skin type, and CAUSE breakouts.This one is wonderfully lightweight while still providing the right amount of hydration needed for my combination oily skin. There was no greasiness or tackiness, and after letting it absorb for about 15 to 20 minutes, my skin just felt soft and well-moisturized.One thing, however - I was expecting it to smell more like tea tree oil - much like the Biossance tea tree facial oil (before they discontinued it) but this Anai Rui one does not really smell like it. So, I’m not sure how high the tea tree oil content is, as most tea tree oil facial products I’ve used in the past tend to smell quite strongly of it.Due to the salicylic acid content, I would recommend monitoring what other products with this ingredient you are using in your facial routine when you apply this oil. A lot of acne-specific products contain it, so I would be careful not to overdo it. I found that when I made the mistake of layering too many salicylic acid products (including this oil), I experienced some skin sensitivity and discomfort for about about 15 minutes or so. But moderating the amount of such products in my routine alleviates the issue and the oil didn’t give me any negative reactions.One slight criticism: there should probably be better packaging quality control. The label on the bottle I received was already peeling off on one side when I took it out of the box, and won’t stick back on the bottle.

This face oil is neon green and has a mild smell to it but the smell isn’t overwhelming, I can’t quite put my finger on what the smell reminds me of but it isn’t a typical tea tree smell. The oil goes on easily and is quickly absorbed and doesn’t leave a greasy texture on my skin. After several days of use I did like how my skin looks using this new product. The product washes off my hands easily with mild soap and it doesn’t irritate my skin in any way.

This oil feels nice on my face and absorbs well. I’ve been using it for months. It doesn’t do anything for my daily acne.aunt it would be helpful some someone with smaller acne concerns?

I have read that face oils are great for your skin, but personally I don't think it's my thing. I've had oily skin and breakouts most of my life so adding more oil to my face seems counter-productive. The scent was fine and it absorbed quickly but I just feel like I am going to aggravate my middle aged acne, not help it with this product.

This smells really nice. I know that the full effect of this product will take a few weeks of use to really see how well the acne prevention portion works. However, it is a great moisturizer for your face. I used it 3 times so far since I received it in the mail and my face feels so soft and smooth. My face looks and feels healthy and bright. I will continue to use this product for the foreseeable future and I will definitely update on the acne prevention side in a few weeks.

My face really likes salicylic acid and tea tree oil. I have used a few products with this combo and I usually liked them. This one is ok. It’s a bit oily, but it has tea tree oil in it, so I guess that's understandable. I wouldn’t say it’s my favorite, but I still like it.Thank you!
