Looks pricey until you realize there are two cake mixes or two sets of cupcakes in each box.

I can’t find this brand at the local grocery store anymore but I remembered how delicious it was to make the carrot cake version (on the side of the box). Since I was doing Easter dinner I decided to check amazon to see if I could find it. Sure enough they had it. I was disappointed that I had to buy multiple boxes since I’m sure they’ll expire before I use them but the holiday dessert was awesome!

It tastes good, but it's a little too sweet and heavy on my belly.

!!!YUMMY!!!...Once I perfected how to make it, that is. I did need to recruit the help of Namaste customer service due to the fact that my first cake came out a little dry and spongy. So I called, here was the issue: DO NOT OVER MIX, OR IT WILL TURN OUT SPONGY. Plus, I added four 'extra large' organic eggs, which I have since corrected by adding only three (even though the recipe calls for four eggs...again, I used jumbo organic eggs). Believe it or not, after doing much research, I discovered that fresh 'young' organic eggs lend a different texture than conventional eggs to a recipe when baking.I add the carrots and raisins (organic, of course) and made an organic butter cream cheese frosting and put on top.Literally had people fighting over the last piece at a cook-out! Said it was "the best" carrot cake that they ever tasted, and asked for the recipe! Who won the last piece, you may wonder? The woman who passed it by because she had celiac disease, and thought it contained gluten! She has since ordered a couple cases, and her family devours the entire cake each time!Thank you, Namaste, for making such an amazing GMO free product line for us GF individuals!! And thank you, Amazon, for selling their product line!! It does not go unappreciated!! Cheers!!

Delicious spice cake and really amazing gluten free cake. Wonderful texture. My sister Is very allergic to gluten and doesn’t get to enjoy desserts with everyone very often. I made this cake for a family dinner to try out for the first time and everyone loved it! I added some more cinnamon because we prefer stronger cinnamon taste in a spice mix. I added walnuts, sliced almonds, dried cranberries and some raisins, just sprinkled on what I had, maybe 1/3 cup of each dried fruit and 1/2 cup nuts (we love nuts). Then I grated a cup of pumpkin in the recipe instead of a cup of carrots as the carrot cake variation required. Then I substituted half of the oil with apple sauce. Baked it as sheet cake. Then made homemade cream cheese frosting with pumpkin spice cream cheese....oh my! Let me tell you, my sister enjoyed this fall treat so much that she ate more later that night. It was moist & delicious and would have been excellent even without the frosting. Going to try out the next box as apple spice cake.

Even the people in my family who don't like gluten-free mixes love this cake. It's super easy to make, has a rich and fluffy texture, bakes very consistently and is absolutely delicious.
