Keeps an outdoor cat warm when it is cold
This product works very well for my outdoor cat. I placed it in my outdoor cat shelter and she seems to love it. This product stays on all the time so you might want to consider unplugging or removing when it gets warmer. Also make sure you plug it into a GFCI receptacle for added protection.

Great warming pad!
I was very skeptical of this product especially after I plugged it in and couldn’t quite feel the warmth at first…I gave it a little time and came back to check and these are the best warming pads with a heavy cord I have not had any issues…well worth the price for the extra comfort of my furry friend!

Too Warm?
I bought this for a wild cat that lives in the backyard. Ended up putting it in the garage and leaving the door open a crack. Kitty would not use it. I think it gets too warm, so I put a homemade nap pad over the heated pad and that seems to be a better temperature. But, I still don't think he's using it. Next winter I may try one that has temperature control...

Cat Lady
This was great during our one degree weather for our outdoor cat. She has self warmers but this one is her favorite. It keeps her warm on cool mornings. It fits well in her dog bed we purchased. She does have an adobe also👍. You can see in the photo her approval!

Not safe
Bought this heating pad for my small dogs to use indoors. Pros: cover stayed on longer than previous covers, long cord, and I didn't have to keep turning it on as it stayed on if plugged in.Cons: cover is cheaply made and started fraying. There is no temperature control- only I temperature. No auto shutoff. Oh, and almost caught my house on fire. The dogs had finally taken off the cover and aa I was putting it back on, I noticed burn marks on the heating pad. I had noticed an electrical smell a day prior, but did not think it was the heating pad. In addition to the burn marks, the vinyl melted to itself. Lucky that my tiny chihuahua did not get burnt. If you do choose to buy this, don't keep plugged in unsupervised.

Cat approved
A cat adopt us several years ago. She lives outside and has access to a small shelter. We set it up on Christmas Day and she snuggled in for days. Built in thermometer (not adjustable) She loves it!!

Got it for outside feral, worked PERFECT in -50 Canada temps!
This thing works AWESOME. I have kept it plugged in all winter in Southern Alberta. We had a near -50 celsius cold snap!!I have a feral cat outside that is too hostile to come inside, but I was really worried for him. I built him a simple, small elevated wooden cat house from another amazon seller, and insulated it with just thin reflective foam insulation, like the kind for pipes.I set this heating pad inside the house on top of a blanket, and he laid directly on the heating pad through the -50 cold snap. I had a thermometer in there so I could monitor the temp, and the lowest the interior wall temp got was -20. That little cat stayed in there through the whole cold snap, kept all his toes, ears and the tip of his tail. He is very grateful and even let me pet him a little after :') I bet if you did the insulation with 2" or thicker styrofoam, that heating pad would be even better! That's my next year project now!THANK YOU STOHOT! You gave that kitty the coziest winter house.

Heated cat mat
I have two cat houses, and the number one choice is the one with this heated mat. The only thing I do not like about it, it is not weight sensitive, (only heats when a cat is lying on it) so has to been turned on 24-7 in the winter. Not as energy efficienct.

Good quality But
My cats find it too hot for their comfort.

Awesome
It's great! Does get really hot when it folds over onto itself, so be careful with that. Likely way too hot to use indoors, but works in the temporary dog house.

Seems Good
So far, working great as described, seems good quality. Have only been using it 24/7 for a few weeks so have no idea about the long term reliability.
