Tectron Polymer Waterproofer

Great water resistance for shoes, boots, bags, etc. It's getting harder to find, but worth the search! It definitely keeps the kids shoes looking good for longer and I always put a coat on my Merrell slip-ons before I leave on a fishing trip. It's a great product and for once I like the new formulation even better than the original! :)

Treated 10+ year old hiking jacket. Finally opportunity to test on the trail and worked great.

Used this on a North Face rain jacket that stopped repelling water. I used just about the whole can on one jacket but it is now completely waterproof again. It works! I would definitely buy it again in the future.

Tectron has always been a top water repellent but the new container leaks. When I received mine the repellent had leaked out in shipment. I have had other spray cans of this product leak out just setting on a shelf. I have a waterproof shelf!

I used this to water proof a pair of hiking boots. It seemed to work okay for that. The can has a locked and unlocked position for the spray trigger. I noticed that the can was leaking in the unlocked position so I locked it but it continued to leak. Rather than waste a can of waterproofing, I sprayed my gloves, ski pants and a couple of coats to use up the entire can all at once. This is not okay and you should buy the Kiwi spray instead.

A wonderful product, and increasingly hard to obtain. I highly recommend it for waterproofing and protecting fabric and leather (e.g.., suede shoes).

Easy to apply, not messy, seems to hold up well.
