The banter between Cassie, Michael, and Dean is sharp, funny, and layered with rivalry and care. You feel the friendship just as much as the attraction. The condition of the book was slightly bent and a bit dusty but the story made up for that. This is by far the best murder, thriller book I’ve read in a long time.
