This is a very cute toy that I got for my 6 year old, and he was so happy when he got it. He is fascinated with all types of fish and sharks, etc. The toy itself is well made, in my opinion, because it is balanced, stable, and has just the right amount of detail. The battery is chargeable, and it last for an adequate amount of time. The remote is simple to use.

Ordered this because I have two kids who love a) aquatic animals and b) remote controlled things. This was a perfect blend of the two worlds!It turned out to be a bit smaller than I was expecting, but that's OK. It seems like it will be great for playing with in the pool! Unfortunately, I received this in the winter and live in Minnesota, so there is no pool available to try it out just now. Kids can't wait to play with it this summer!

The media could not be loaded. Sorry the dirty bottom of pool. Been lazy with covering it for winter and definitely wasnt following a script for commentary. Wiser to just turn volume down ;)Took kids a minute to figure out the idea of controls with motor on each side and how to turn or go straight by using or not using each side. Pretty fun once they get the hang of it. The spout out the top could be better. Maybe more of a spray instead of just a spout of water. Or even cooler idea would be a random timer for it to just shoot up randomly as an option. No control loss to far corner of pool.Neat to have an autoswim button that just sends it off where it wants to go. Makes a fun chase tag game.Lasted awhile. As long as I get about 15mins is cool and so far have stopped using it and its still charged some.Have a pool? This is worth it for some neat fun. Bathtub? Its not too big but its bathtub worthy too. It can turn quickly and isnt too overly fast.
