I absolutely love these wrenches. The set I received was made in Taiwan. A set of wrenches from Gearwrench I received about 1-2 years ago was China made, and the wrenches are absolutely horrible. These wrenches are more like the older Gearwrench ratchets, a quality and straight wrench. Straight is no joke, the China wrenches often came with a banana type shape when looking at the end-to-end.I have three Craftsman 26 inch toolboxes. Nothing professional, but I am a DIYer and have no need for the more expensive boxes. The tray the wrenches come in is about 1/2 inch too long to fit vertically in the drawers. The issue exists with all three of them, from an old 80s style, to the 75th anniversary box to a normal about 2000-ish box. This has no impact on wrench performance though, so I did not even reduce a star for this.The wrenches themselves are great. The non ratcheting box ind has very thin walls, which if it were not for a lifetime warranty, I would complain about. I do see this helpful in allowing access in the very tightest of spaces. For the reason I purchased this, and I Am sure the reason most others are looking at this, the length of the wrenches is about perfect. I have worked on a few Asian cars now where the bolts are very close to the fenders or other parts of the car. It makes getting a socket and ratchet in there nearly impossible. The length and offer of the non ratcheting box end make this a perfect wrench in those situations. If you need wrenches that provide greater access due to length, give these a shot.

Use daily and still working perfectly. For the price, you can't beat it.

These wrenches are very large, but man, they do the job. The ratcheting mechanism is smooth and the zero-degree box end gives you a fantastic torque advantage when dislodging frozen nuts and bolts. The only fault I could come up with on this item is how HUGE the case is; it's not the most efficient use of space in the world (they could have halved the size of the case if they laid the wrenches on their side.) You'll either need a very large tool box to accomodate the case, or you'll just have to figure out a different way to store the wrenches. I have a big Snap-on tool box, so the case fit and I stacked the matching smaller metric wrench set on top of it. It's nice to be able to pull the case out of the tool box and walk it over to your project without worrying about damaging it. Everything else about this set was well thought out. The build quality is exceptional.A few years ago, these gear wrenches were novelty tools. Given how little space you get in the engine bays of newer cars, they are now must-have items for both the pro and the DIY mechanic. The price is resonable for what you get. I ended up getting both the Metrics and the SAE sets (four cases' worth of tools). It was money well spent. Made in Taiwan.

I needed a set of longer box wrenches to get a little more leverage in some tight spaces. While this is not a professional grade tool set, it is great for the occasional home mechanic. The quality and finish are good. It gave me the extra leverage was looking for in a couple tight spaces and the money I saved doing a suspension refresh myself, more than paid for this item.
