Q: Would this be suitable for gluing torn edges of a very thin bible page. I don't want to see the glue after it dries.

Hi, this will dry clear. I would apply a very thin line, and use wax paper between the treated pages and untreated so it would not stick together. Then place a rubber band around book and place a heavy book on top and let dry for 24hours. My daughter did this with a fragile old book that was over 100yrs old, and repair was flawless! Good luck!

It is rather nontoxic. I use it in small amounts to glue my books and I never use mask.

I use this product to repair old books but I don't see why you couldn't use it for that purpose. It is a very strong and long lasting adhesive.
