Good for props.
Well, its LEGO accessories. Not much to say there. I can say that they would probably make decent tokens for Intergalactic Monopoly or something. Maybe for RPG games?Other than that, if your kids can't keep track of their LEGO accessories, these should do the trick. But if that's the case; maybe the kids are too young for these choke hazard sized items.

High quality for an off-brand, Lego-compatible set (there are 8 minifigures included!)
I received this set along with another, very similar set of military accessories made by off-brand, Lego-compatible company. I don't know if the sets were created by the same companies/manufacturers, but they were surprisingly similar in many respects. Indeed, in the case of the two larger artillery on wheels, these were exactly the same mold and build I had encountered in the previous set. (The previous set was labeled on Amazon as "WW2 Military Soldier Weapons Pack Accessories Kits Toys, Blocks Model Weapon Sets for German Soldier Figures.")Despite the two aforementioned wheeled pieces of artillery, which had an old-timey, pre-1950s feel, most of the rest of this set felt much more contemporary. This listing includes 'WW2' as a descriptor, but most of the weapons seemed to be more modern: M16s and AK-47s, little apple grenades and smoke canisters. In any case, much of what I said in my review of the other set holds equally for this one: The quality is much better than I expected. I expect low quality from off-brand, Lego-compatible sets. This, however, was surprisingly similar to Lego products in quality. The 8 minifigures that came with the set looked and felt pretty much almost exactly like actual Lego minifigures. Granted, you have to put the minifigures together (the arms and hands need to be snapped on the torsos), but it didn't seem to me to be a problem.Interested buyers should definitely note that there is a LOT of assembly. This didn't bother me; I quite enjoyed it. But I could easily imagine it being frustrating for other customers. Part of the labor here includes removing most of the pieces and accessories from plastic sprues. (For anyone who may not know, "sprues" are those plastic frames to which the parts of a plastic model are attached when you first pull it out of the box.) I found it extremely helpful that I had recently acquired a sprue clipper/nipper. It made removing the pieces from sprues much easier and much cleaner. And, again, there were a LOT of those sprues. For the larger machine guns, the two pieces of artillery, and a few of the smaller weapons, there are instructions for assembly. But be warned: these are not in any way similar to the instructions Lego provides for their products. Here, the instructions were printed on just one (maybe two) very small pieces of paper. The images were tiny and I simply wouldn't have been able to read the instructions without magnification. I didn't mind, but again, i can imagine someone else might. All the accessories pictured in the listed were included in the box. Not pictured were the 8 minifigures that also were part of the set. (That was a nice surprise for me and my son.) There were a few pieces we couldn't identity (that is, we don't know what they are or what they are for), but they certainly correspond to everything pictured.I would highly recommend a set like this for anyone who wants to equip your Lego and Lego-compatible creations with modern warfare accessories. The quality was strong. The designs are excellent. My only warning would be that buyers should expect some initial labor setting everything up.

Misleading headline but good quality
Ill just point out the obvious, this isn't a WW2 related weapons pack. Unless they were taught the allies stormed the beaches with quad nods, RPKs, and Ak74s this isnt anywhere close to being WW2. BUT compared to the other block gun sets this one seems to be the better option. You get more guns per dollar and it comes with 3 turret builds 2 crates and a stretcher. I dont know why they hide the fact it comes with 8 minifigures which is an odd choice but ok. Also for anyone wondering the 8 figures are 4 Russian Soldiers and 4 Ukrainian soldiers. The set arrived relatively fast after purchasing which is another bonus. Overall, I wouldn't be buying this if you want only WW2 weapons because this includes near none of them. However, it is really good if you want lego compatible guns for a MOC or just to have some extra fun. (Side note, when trying to detach the guns from the mold dont press too hard otherwise they may break.)

A nice mix of military gear
I got two of these sets to put together a stop animation movie scene and the pieces are just as good as actual branded blocks and accessories. There is a mixture of weaponry and I did get some modern things thrown in with 1940s armaments. Overall it's an exceptional set allowing you to build out a few fun little scenes. I would have liked the Springfield rifles to have been molded in brown or even painted. The AR rifles have a camo design on them so I am sure it was possible by the manufacturer to put in a little more definition in the guns. Other than a few annoyances I am really happy with the two sets I got. I would definitely get something like this again from this manufacturer.

Cool set
It comes with so many accessories. They fit perfect on my lego toys. They feel sturdy and look like the pictures. This is something that is hard to find from the original company. Good quality and lots of accessories to choose from.

Great! Lego doesn't make military sets!
My son is pretty obsessed with military stuff and he loves legos so this just makes sense! Lego doesn't make any military items like these so you have to get third party pieces. There are a ton of accessories here and the price is great! The mega bloks/construx guys guns are pretty much the same size as these too so it works for those guys too! Very nice!

More than I expected!
It was a great surprise to see everything in this package and how well it goes with the scenes my grandson does with Lego. He builds battle scenes and never had enough weapons. These compliment and work well with the minifigures, even if they are not period accurate. This set even includes minifigures which I had not noticed. Always good for extending the battle. But there are also tools and other items which he just loved. Much appreciated to get more than you wanted.
