Buyer beware!!! The album pictured is not the album delivered. If you are looking for a special edition remastering of the original Sweet Inspirations lp on Atlantic from the 1960s this is not it. What you get is an obscure one-off mid 70s mildly disco/RnB lp that does not contain any significant hits but is considered by aficionados as a sought after album from the Sweet Inspirations catalogue. The singing is strong and the talent of the ladies elevate the material from just being "meh" to being "alright". Also Cissy Houston is not part of the ensemble. I am not sure if Amazon was being deliberately misleading or it was just an oversite. In any case I made the mistake looking for a childhood favorite but got an interesting curio that I plan to keep in spite of my disappointment.

la copertina nella foto di presentazione non è quella arrivata. In fase di ordine a differenza di altri cd non si vedeva lista canzoni. Preso comunque perché mi interessava sentire qualcosa del gruppo. Non male anche se come dicevo penso sia un cd diverso da quello presentato.

Sylvia, Myrna and Gloria Brown (New member for this recording) rock the house! Cissy and Estelle were gone at this time (1979). Sadly, Myrna and Sylvia have passed. The vocals are strong and not as dated as I thought they might be. Really enjoyed the album. Now, if they'd only release "Hot Butterfly' on CD!
