20 Great Love Songs

Good selection of Dr Hook tunes. Some I'd not heard before, such as the lovely Sweetest of All and What about you?

Just bought this cd, and what a great little item this is. There is not a duff track anywhere, twenty tracks that are a joy to listen to again. I had forgotten how good this great little band were, and this cd has not been off my cd player since it arrived. Most of the tracks are on the soft and mellow side, and the only glaring omission is "Sylvia's Mother" which is a shame, as it would have fitted in nicely with the rest of this compilation. It has my favourite Dr. Hook song, "More like the movies" on it and "Storms never last" as well, but a new favourite is track 18, "What about you". This sounds like a song Waylon Jennings should have recorded, in fact on this track you would swear that Waylon is singing backup on the chorus. This I think was a budget cd on it's release, and going by some of the reviews on the Amazon product page, what a popular little cd it is. It is still playing as I write this review. Buy this cd, and you will not be disappointed, it really is a little gem. Mrs. M Walsh. "Maw".D

I've been a Dr. Hook fan for many, many years and this CD doesn't disappoint! All my favourites and I can sit and listen and the years roll back - would highly recommend.

overjoyed. it has some tracks that are on other cds. but who cares. the voice of Dennis Lecorria is so soft and sweet. if any oneone out there gets and a chance to see dennis live take from me go.
