Automotive Engines: Theory and Servicing (Automotive Systems Books)

The book is what I ordered, but there was a crease on the back cover and some small rips in the binding on the last few pages. It doesn't affect the content or usability of the book for my engine fundamentals class, but I have to admit I was a bit disappointed it arrived less than pristine. My instructor has used this book for years so it must be fairly complementary to most classwork. I recommend reading the questions at the end of the chapter first, so you know what to make note of while reading.

I did not think to take a picture before it was returned. This is a one-inch thick paperback textbook. I expected rough edges and creased pages for a used textbook. The one we received had obviously sat in a puddle of water and dried out. The lower third of the pages was rippled. And GROSS, flipping through the back of the book, pages were moldy! Visible mold if anyone took the time to look before this was rented again. Not sure why this was ever sent out in the first place?!
