Love the remote feature and the timer. Now I don't have to take the tea lights out of each holder and turn them on and off individually.

These tea light candles seem pretty durably made, or 3-year-old has dropped a few and they are still working just fine. The flickering effect is similar to a real candle and gives off a bright yellowish orange light. These are similar in size and shape to the old tea light candles that do not come with remotes. We have not used the timer feature, however are 3-year-old loves to light all of the candles we have out using the remote control, even hard to reach ones. This makes turning on all our Halloween decorations significantly faster and easier than when each candle had to be individually pulled out to be turned on and off each time.

I've had these candles going for just over two weeks. They're in my little ceramic pumpkins that I set up on the walkway to the house, and I'm actively using all 12 of them.The Good: I turn them on (via the remote) for about two hours every evening, and they haven't failed me yet. They generate just the right amount of light, and the "flickering" is quite realistic. They also turn on/off promptly with said remote IF you're not too far away (the range is about six feet, by my calculation, and the remote has to be pointed DIRECTLY at the candle).The Bad: A couple of nights in, I noticed that one of the candles turned itself back on after I'd shut them down for the night (some other people have mentioned this as well). My fix for that was to remove the battery from the remote after turning everything off. That worked. No further occurrences of random turn-on, until...The Ugly: I forgot to take the battery out of the remote last night and, lo and behold, when I opened the front door this morning, all 12 of the lights were merrily burning away. I have no idea at what time this might have occurred, so I may have to replace the batteries sooner than I had planned. Argh.So: This cause-and-effect analysis tells me that there are rogue remote controls included with this product. The remote battery is difficult to remove, especially with arthritic fingers, so this additional step is quite annoying. If it weren't for that, I'd give these lights a solid five stars.

12 tealights are easy to turn on/off with remote and 4, 6 & 8 hour shut off timer is really nice feature for jack-o-lanterns or Holiday events

The media could not be loaded. The flicker is great. In the video, the camera makes it seem like it’s flashing against the table, but in reality. It’s just a subtle flicker inside the ghosts. The lights are bright and warm. They come with a timer and a remote. Perfect.

I think for around $1 each they are a good deal if they last a few months. One of them doesn't respond to the remote. The timer works well so far. Nice effect

I bought these for use with my halloween decor, because some of it is on high shelves, and annoying to access merely to switch on a tea light.I ended up using them as night lights, and may keep them all winter, or however long they last (but I intend to buy more when these expire).I've had them a month, and have used them on the 6 hour timer function since I got them. They're still trucking right along, so I would say that's a good battery life.It was a delightful surprise to see when set to a timer, they switch on automatically at the last time used until the user resets them. All my decor suddenly lit up before I picked up the remote, like magic.The flicker on these is very slight, just enough to simulate a flame, which is good for me because I suffer from vertigo, which can be tripped by rapidly flashing lights. The flicker is more like movement than a true flicker.They are not super bright, if you're looking to light up a whole room, you will need a lot of them. They're little more than half as bright as an actual candle.I try to think of drawbacks when reviewing so...I would like to see kits that come without the remote, because buying it every time I get new lights is wasteful. And perhaps vise versa, a remote without lights in case something happens to it. Outside of that, they're a solid product, and an excellent value for the price. I'm pleased, and will be buying more.

These are great! Pretty amber color which is what I wanted. Remote works great and very simple.

It was hard to find tea lights that are a bright white and these are perfect. With the cool light it is very bright which I love. Awesome to have a remote as well.

I have turned these off with the remote after using, left in the candle holders, and sometimes one comes on by itself. Probably possessed by the devil. :) JK they are good little lights, just won't stay off sometimes.
