Better than expected, I purchased the Boundless carbon fiber record and stylus brushes to help clean up some of my vintage vinyl. Noticed a considerable difference right away. You can see the dust and debris collect on the fine bristles and it decreases static too. Very easy to use. Great item at a reasonable price.

An incredibly handy cleaning kit and essential for taking good care of your records. The wet cleaning velvet brush is essential when buying old, used, dusty records. The stylus brush is simple, and it all comes in a nice bag to hold everything, and also can fit a carbon fibre record brush if you have one. Works like a charm!

I live in Arizona where it's dry dry dry in the winter. Static builds up very quickly in everything. Pretty much every record I bought before owning this anti-static brush gave me massive pops and crackles right out of the sleeve the first time. That's not helped by the crappy paper inner sleeves a lot of vinyl comes with, which just make things worse as you slide the record in and out.When I got this, the very first time I used it, the record I was playing was almost dead silent. It definitely works. I don't doubt that all similar anti-static brushes work too, but there's no reason not to buy this one. It's carbon fiber (which is conductive) with a conductive metal handle; as long as you hold it right, the static electricity just exits through your own body, leaving the record without buildup.This version comes with the stylus brush and that's what I bought; there is another version that doesn't come with the stylus brush. I'd actually recommend that. I'm sure the stylus brush is "ok" but every test I've seen has shown that the most effective stylus cleaner you can buy today is a Magic Eraser. Yes, from the grocery store. You cut off a piece, set it down on the platter and just dip your stylus in and out of it - you don't even need to brush it. It will get your stylus cleaner than any brush; under the microscope, it'll look as good as new. So honestly, you don't need any stylus brush, and I kind of wish I'd bought the version without it. But eh, it's only a few bucks difference.Definitely get the anti-static brush, though, especially if you live in a dry climate. The pops and crackles coming from your records are probably not dirt or scratches! They're static electricity. You just need a brush like this that can dissipate the electricity on your records through your own body.

This Boundless Audio Vinyl Record Cleaning kit comes with a soft brush for the record, a thin brush for the needle, liquid to spray on the brush and a brush to clean the record brush. It is definitely a kit to clean a record. It does the job very well.

The Short:This is a nice little kit that if you are getting started with vinyl.The long(ish):- Short of getting a record cleaning machine, you probably don't need anything more.- This is NOT for moldy old records from the basement, but for new or well cared for records that just need a dusting.- The brush picks up dry but a mist of the fluid helps give a better result.- Don't press down. If the record slows down or stops, you are pressing too hard.- Do a bit of a rolling motion as it makes a pass.- Wipe the brush each time and keep making passes until the brush comes away clean.

Works great…really gets the dust out of the groves!
