I ordered some cumin club lunches which are pouches that you need to boil water for. Some reviews suggested that they are better if you can simmer them a bit then let them sit covered. Someone mentioned a product like this so I bought this one. Boy, this isn’t the hot pot from college 1988. Heated 240ml of water to boiling in maybe 1min (on 600w). The bottom doesn’t get warm at all. It’s just perfect for my needs. Add to that the little steamer part that I’ll figure out some use for. Super easy to use and FAST.

This Dezin hot pot arrived promptly and well packaged.Cons:1. There was a part rattling around inside. Found an extra nut loose in the interior parts and removed it.2. There were no rubber feet in the space provided on the bottom of the pot as others have noted. So I will need to make my own as the pot slips and slides everywhere.3. Burns eggs, and anything I cook without my monitoring it. I use lowest setting and then turn off. Highest setting is very hot and only for boiling.4. Tips. Once I plug in to the handle, if there is nothing in the pot it tips. Too heavy on the handle side without a counter weight.Pros:1. Heats quickly.2. Non stick.3. Does clean easily if you do not spill on the exterior.

This pot heats up pretty fast if you use it to boil water or cooking noodles. Due to its limitation in heat area, the pot does not work well for pan frying meat or stir frying. Would recommend if used to make noodles or make simple egg breakfast.

This little hot pot heats up quickly and the nonstick surface is easy to clean. It is perfect for college students who want to eat healthier by cooking their own meals rather than having to go to the dining halls or eat out all the time. Can fry eggs, sautee veggies or make soups/stews. The steamer can double as a colander for those who don’t have a full kitchen set.
