Lomo 3m x 3m Tarp Bushcraft Bivi Basha

Excellent kit from Limo, as always. You won't be disappointed with this tarp it's strong durable and light. Well built and doesn't leak, can't ask for more really....

It was purchased for a Forest School setting, and it is perfect for quick shelter and sturdy against the rain. The loop strap of the tarp makes ideal hooking points for a ridge line (we used a Prusick hitch along the midline and small sticks for a toggle). Even with inexperienced members, we got it in place within ten minutes (several members had issues with different knots. I put it up in less than five minutes—easy storage even when leaving the attached ridge line and peg lines. Six adults fit comfortably underneath.

As this is my first 3x3 tarp I was unsure of the size so once it came and I laid it out it was surprised and pleased. So nowni can make a few configurations. It rained constantly so it was a good day to test the waterproof membrane and can say it held for the 2 hours it was up. No wetness on the inside only a slight condensation. The stitching was good apart from one part where it was twisted but wasn't affecting the performance. I did however change the cordage it isn't up the job at all. Nor are the pegs. Buy new or use your own.

I bought this because it was advertised as weighing just 400g.This is not true. The bundle weighs in at over 880g - see photo.This is particularly disappointing as I chose it over a more expensive product because of the advertised weight.Had I wanted a tarp that was this heavy I would have gone for a different product. I may return it for a refund.

Just arrived and first impressions are good. It is what it says on the tin. No frills and with plenty of attachment points. I purchased this tarp to replace the basha I was issued in the Army many years ago so it has a lot to live up to. Time will tell and hopefully I will be able to test soon.

Exactly what I wanted, can't wait to get outdoor.

Tarp con todo lo que se le pide a un tarp para la naturaleza. En lo que al sol respecta, crea un buen espacio protegido. Sin lluvia, pero en ambientes nocturnos con mucha humedad, funcionan bastante bien, no cala la humedad y se mantiene seco el interior. No pesa mucho, es fácil de limpiar y plegar.Un compra estupenda con un tamaño más que suficiente para crear refugios.

Meist stößt man bei der Suche nach einem Tarp auf das DD-Tarp.Da ich zu einer alternative zum meinem jetzigen Decathlon Tarp gesucht hatte, bin ich auf dieses hier gestoßen.Dieses Tarp von "DD" war und ist mir für meine kleinen Wandertouren einfach zu teuer.Bisher habe ich das Decathlon Tarp genutzt doch diese kleine Branding (Decathlon) auf diesem Tarp hat mich doch sehr gestört,also muss ein Neues her.Hier war es mir wichtig, 3x3 M, sowie viele Abspannpunkte damit man dieses Tarp nutzen kann wie man will.Weiterhin sollte es mich bei Regen schützen und auch vor Wind, damit man in Ruhe und im trockenen mal einen Kaffee trinken oder eine Kleinigkeit essen kann.Des Weiteren sollte es mir auch die Möglichkeit bieten einen Schutz über die Hängematte zu bieten.Dies alles bietet mir diese Tarp und hat mich bisher gut begleitet.Mit seinen von mir gewogenem Gesamtgewicht ( ohne Heringe! ) jedoch mit allen Abspannschnüren von 730 gr. ist es auch nicht zu Schwer.Die mitgelieferten Stahlheringe wurden von mir durch Alu ersetzt und so kommen ich mit 2 Zusatzschnüren (2XParacord 550 a 5 M) auf genau 830gr.Die beschriebene Artikelfarbe "Grün" ist in meinen Augen eher ein Blaugrün. Dies sollte betrachtet werden!Da der vernähte Stoff doch recht dünn ist, sollte man auch direkt nach Kauf alles prüfen.Bei mir ist es leider vorgekommen dass ich erst nach 3 Wochen nach Erhalt der Ware 1 kleinen Fehler entdeckt habe.Hier ist genau in der Mitte ~ im Kopfbereich eine kleine Stelle von ~4 cm länge wo eine Laufmasche ist.Somit kann es bei sehr starkem Regen vorkommen das es genau an dieser Stelle Tropft.Hier habe ich mir halt mit grünem Panzertape geholfen und ein kleines Stück darüber geklebt. Nicht schön aber zweckmäßig.So, nun genug. Allen viel Spaß.
