Have put a few hundred miles on these tires. Initially they can be very sketchy in a light drizzle of rain, but after some miles they have worn in and are doing great. This is simply one of those brands that are Not wet ready right out of the box, you have to get past that first millimeter of rubber to get good grip. Got my new rims with Sumitomo HTRz3 tires and the rears lasted a year, given they are 300 wear rated. Put these Nitto 555 G2 on the rear and initially was very happy with them with their dry traction, Until the rainy season started in Miami. Hydroplaning was not an issue and they handle real good in a straight line at 70 MPH in heavy rain on a hot day since the tires had warmed up, But when the day is in the low 80s or lower they will not warm up enough to handle a light drizzle rain. I haven't lost compete traction but am getting enough break to catch my attention PDQ. The break in traction is slight and you can feel it is about to happen and it is enough to feel a soft side slip that starts and ends in the blink of an eye. The tires get their grip back just as soft as they lost it, which can be a good and bad thing. for those that don't know how to counter steer and feather a throttle these tires would be a good choice since they don't just snap back when they get their grip back, but the down side is they are on the edge of their grip on a warm or mild warm day. I had researched these tires before buying them and already heard about these needing more warm up time than other brands, but decided to give them a chance. For the price these are good tires, but for performance classification they are lacking and need to reformulate the rubber compound. All driven on a 2017 Mustang GT
