Firstly, I will say the desk is nice, once assembled. It is fairly large and sturdy. However, I haven’t seen together furniture‘s for years on my own. I am that friend or family member you call when you need an assembly expert. This desk took a span of two days and a total of six hours to put together…. That’s with having my coworker assist on the second day. It is common when assembling furniture for some of the holes to not lineup completely but the main screw used throughout. The whole process is completely flat on the bottom, and therefore will not drill in to grab the wood. I had to use a drill bit and predrill the holes then go back and force the screw in with a drill! The instructions are nothing but extremely small pictures that you have to pay close attention to, looking at placement of other illustrated features to know the placement or correct side of the piece being used. I wanted to return the desk in the first 30 min attempting to assemble it, but by then there were so many pieces spread out and you have to rip the side of the packaging to access the desk parts. Returning it would’ve been just about as big of a nightmare as building it.
