how to install these lights on stone steps?

They come with double sided foam tape. This what I used and don’t have a problem. They can come off but it takes quite a bit of tugging. Just make sure the stone is clear from debris and are dry.

Can the lights be set to one specific color?

I have the warm white so only one color

How many have the light on the left and how many have the light on the right?

The triangular design allows them to flip so the light can project left or right.

I have north facing steps and the western sun is blocked by the house. Will they get enough light to shine on both sides of the step?

My lights are almost never in direct sunlight, on the north side of my house. They work well. I have them screwed into the steps, they never move.
