The picture is cropped and photoshopped, as the dinosaurs are NOT as big as they appear to be compared to the children playing with them. They ARE a good size for the price, but the pics seem to make the dinosaurs almost as big as the kids. I would do actual photos so people aren't mislead. They're somewhat soft, which is great, I don't like the hard plastic, non-flexible types (If you child falls on one of these, it's alot less painful than the hard plastic ones. My granddaughter loves them, and she's 2.5yrs.
