Q: Does anyone use this to repel mosquitoes? I’ve heard it’s effective at that.

As a rule, I don't generally use my body lotions for anything BUT their primary purpose.....as a body lotion. I'm not outside much at all plus we are not much bothered with mosquitoes; so, really, I'm not much qualified to answer that. Why not look for something that is manufactured for just that purpose? I'm certain that there pleasant-smelling sprays, etc that are effective and maybe even vegan and cruelty-free. I would give that a try. :)

Q: Why is this more than 3 times the cost of the same stuff and the same size at Walmart?

I have no idea as I have bought it at Walmart, but when I use my Prime account, I build credits and it is so easy to order online.
