Fragrance World Barakkat Gentle Gold Eau de Parfum Spray for Unisex, 3.4 Ounce

This perfume is fantastic. It’s a softer feminine scent. It’s a perfect signature scent. It’s leans slightly warm, but I consider perfectly balanced. Not overly warm nor fresh, right down the middle. It’s appropriate for the office with light sprays and can be amped up more sprays. It has fantastic longevity, lasting all day on my clothes. I would call it a smooth, grown woman scent. It doesn’t have big silage but stays a bit closer to the body. My bottle is still very new, I think it will continue to develop into an even more beautiful bottle of perfume. I think this can be worn any season, day or evening, agin a perfect signature scent. Talk about a bargain. I think it’s hard to tell which one is GFG or this one. Especially after some time. I really don’t think that I will ever purchase expensive fragrances again. I love these Middle Eastern brands, they are fantastic.

This is a gorgeous warm and ethereal fragrance. It opens with aromatic notes of juniper berries and coriander. Somehow this has an effervescent and ethereal quality to it like it’s sparkling and wafting off your skin. It dries down to a warm ambery vanilla. I had to let this one macerate for 3 months. For the longest time it had a metallic smell that almost made me feel nauseous. I am so happy with how it turned out. I was a little worried because most of my Middle Eastern fragrances only had to macerate two weeks to a month. If you purchase a Middle Eastern fragrance, you really have to give them some time. Don’t give up too early. Some will take longer than others. This is a beautiful alternative to MFK GFG but it also stands on its own as an elegant aromatic and ambery vanilla.

I know that this is a dupe for Gentle Fluidity Gold and I can't speak to that but at first sniff I immediately get the woodsy and juniper. I know this is a vanilla and not floral perfume but somehow it reminds me of Chloe. I believe it's the amber and juniper (Chloe has cedar). I say all that to say that if you like Chloe you will likely like this as well. I ironically was thinking about buying a Chloe dupe I love but this makes it unnecessary. Like Chloe it is sophisticated, classic, and has a projection that is pleasant but not beast mode. I see this as a daily daytime wearing perfume, appropriate for work as well. It leans mature in my opinion. I get a few hours out of it. I think for under $25 it is a really good performer. The juice is a light amber btw, not sure why the photo shows pink. I received a sealed box with proper logos and stamping.

Love this fragrance. It is sweet but not too sweet, leans a slightly feminine. Great quality. Although it is not an exact dupe of it's inspiration, it is very close and it last just as long. Well worth the $.

So I put Gentle Gold on one wrist and MFK Gentle Fluidity Gold on the other. Initial spray I realized that MFK is a bit sharper than this. But they smelled very similar other than that. After the dry down they’re still similar but Gentle Gold is much sweeter. Which I personally like. I think the MFK is a bit spicier and possibly the amber is stronger. I’m definitely very pleased with this purchase. I would say it’s inspired by gentle fluidity. The juice in my bottle is very deep, amber color. I guess I was just a little bit disappointed when it wasn’t that pretty lilac- pink color on the picture. The OG I have is a very light in color.

This is a really good unisex scent. From the reviews I was hoping it would be sweeter, but it's truly unisex to me, like a masculine sweetness. As it dries it definitely leans more masculine to me. I sprayed it on myself to test it out, stayed in the house and within the hour I could hardly smell it. Two hours and I couldn't smell it at all. I tried it again two more times and definitely can't smell it enough for how much I sprayed. I'll likely layer it with something very floral/sweet which I think will give it the girlier scent that I like and help with longevity.

There is a sharp note to this one. For me, Casablanca by Swiss Arabia had the same thing but changed as it macerated and now I love it! So time will tell with this. I think if that sharp note mellows out it will be a beautiful, soft, delicate scent. If not, it’s going to find a new home. I’ve not smelled the original so I can’t speak to the similarity of the two. Update: It never mellowed out for me and I cannot find anyone who likes it to give it away. I’d steer clear of this one.

This is a blind buy. This is a very soft feminine scent. I'm not sure about the longevity, but my son says that he smelled it on me when he walked in the house so I would say that it projects very well. This is a year round fragrance. I wouldn't say it's sexy but I definitely feel prettier wearing it. Perfect for special occasions, brunch or date nights. Haven't received any compliments as of yet but I love the way it smells.
