Purchased to replace a Nilfisk unit that I had for 5 years. Firstly:-POSITIVESIt's solidly built and the pieces feel firmNot much assembly required. Slot in the gun and holsters, job done.NEGATIVESIt's heavy. You won't be wheeling this around much.It doesn't seem to push out the power advertised. Even with the good water pressure in my area.The lance hose is not the advertised "usable" length. Whist coupled with the above "weight" of this unit means that it can be an effort to navigate round a decent sized car. The hose is built into the reel, which means you can't replace it with a longer one. So I ended up sending mine back, for the lack of power / weight ratio and also the issue with the lance hose.As a side note for those looking to purchase a Silverline product, I emailed their "customer service" dept on the hose situation and they just sent me a link on their website for an 8m extension hose. However this would not fit my unit and despite follow up emails to them, they never replied.UPDATE 20th Feb 2018: Since posting this review I have been contacted by Silverline who have apologised for the above "customer service" issue. I can only commend them for getting in touch, as they could have just ignored the issue and waited for it to go away. Further dialogue has established that they are indeed a reputable, caring brand, who care about their products and customer service. Which has restored my faith in UK companies! Credit where it's due.

This is a really powerful washer. It's heavy at 20Kg, but wheels along fine, the pressure hose is a little inflexible, but that's because it has to handle a lot of pressure. I've had one similar to this and it lasted me for over 15 years until the motor gave out. Reviews for other machines often complain of the hose splitting or leaking. The old hose and lance were the same as the new one and they're still OK. This has a long life induction motor so I'll probably die first.

Although I bought an Amazon refurbished one I can only praise Silverline’s attention to getting what matters most very right. Easy to set up, most powerful one I have ever had. Previous Macalister and Karchers were much more “domestic” performance. Hopefully this will do the grand job it has done so far for a long time. Note, if you want to clean lichen or oil off concrete buy the Silverline Power Lance with a rotating ball separately They did not include it in mine but as said, it Wes a refurb. Thanks Amazon

This is a great deal - bargain price for the spec’ ... and it’s a very powerful washer.The big drawback is the hose length.It needs to be much longer for car/ 4x4 washing.I’ve bought an 8metre Silverline hose which has added £15 to the purchase price - but overall, it’s far cheaper than a Karcher - well built and a powerful machine.Very happy with this purchase.Further to the above, I’ve had to return the new 8metre hose - even though it’s Silverline it doesn’t fit this particular machine. I’ll just have to suffer the short hose supplied with the washer.

I read a number of positive reviews (surprisingly) before purchasing this item but after 8 months of usage, I can give you my honest assessment.PROS - it rolls up the pressure cord neatlyCONS - Never did I expect this pressure washer to be so poor, the build quality initially seemed fine but after 6 months the front nose started to deteriorate --- it's a pressure washer ffs!!Second issue and probably the most important is the fact it has lost its PRESSURE!!!!! I've tried all avenues to fix this and it's just not possible so my conclusion is that i'm stuck with a piece of rubbish when in reality I should have paid a little but more and brought the yellow competitor!

Have out done the "NEIGHBOUR" with their new posh Karcher costing 3xs the price ;) yes heavyish but wheels along brilliantly, yes a bit noisey but the power is amazing. Very long lengh in hose. Runs off my water butt brilliantly, glad i took the risk and not paid 3xs the amount

This is absolutely a great washer! I did not expect too much because the price compared to other washers. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this tool. The power is more than sufficient to clean anything. I can't say anything about how long it will last, because I only have the maschine only for 1 week but even if it only last for a year, the price you pay is worth it.

My partner loves a jet wash and he thinks this is a good product. The whole outside of our property is now clean. Good long lead on the jet gun although the turning handle was missing and I emailed the company several times but still did not receive one but we have managed without. Very good quality jet wash.
