Thunderbird Paleo and Vegan Real Food Bars - Texas Maple Pecan - Box of 15 - no Added Sugar, Grain-Free, Vegan, Non-GMO

I had never heard of these and randomly bought them because I liked the box. Wow! These were delicious with a variety of flavors (coffee, hazelnuts, and dates). I ate two in a row and guiltily looked at the back for calories: 148!!!!!! Officially my new favorite bar.

This bar is a danger to your teeth! The bar contains bits of cocoa shells and hard seed shells. Not only does it not taste good but one bite and you are at risk of cracking your teeth. I cracked a molar and now the cost of a crown made these bars way too expensive. I took the piece out of my mouth and it was a big, hard shell.I notified the company and never heard from them. Stay away from these bars.

Good taste, great ingredients. I have tried practically every food or protein bar on the market. This one falls in between good and great. I love the fact that there is no added sugar...12g total from dates. It is a bit raw and crunchy, so the dates add a nice texture and sweetness.Given the bar has 250 calories, I would like to see the protein content higher(only 6g). That equals only 24 calories coming from plant protein, The fiber at 6g is a very good ratio. One can argue the fat coming in at a hefty 18g is high. 3g of that is saturated. I'm ok with it, but that is a lot of plant fat for one bar. No doubt, mostly coming from the Macadamia nuts and the Coconut.I use this bar as a small meal replacement. If you have pair it with a salad, or a low/non-fat item, possibly with added protein...you have a solid meal. The 2 mg Iron content is nice...that is about 10% of your daily value.One last point...It says in CAPS--"Not a low-calorie food"...ya think? I am positive no one will say to themselves, "wow, I just had 18 g of fat...glad the bar is LOW in calories" (I know, I know...it is mostly "good fat") I digress...the bar works for me. Tasty enough and great ingredients. Recommended.

Wow! The flavor consistency and quality are TOP notch. They’re delicious, and my new favorite keto product. Just arrived today, but will post an update if anything changes. Good stuff.

I’ve ordered these with a subscription for a number of months but I’m over it. While they are delicious & filled with whole ingredients, a number of boxes were stale tasting. A big thumbs down is the fact that the boxes are not sealed at all & are generally spilled into the packing. This is the 2nd box I’ve received of Thunderbird bars that did not contain the amount listed on the box. Returns aren’t accepted. I did get a refund once but this is too much. I’m canceling my subscription. These bars cost too much to not receive the paid for amount.

If it was a little higher in protein, would be perfect for what I'm looking for. The taste is like a fig newton. Great soft texture and fresh tasting. The energy was almost immediate.. not sure if its the coffee, maca, or both.

These are really good if you know what you're getting. They are exactly like an RX bar but they use pecans as the base instead of almonds or peanuts or cashews so they are lectin free. When you get them, you need to be put in the frig immediately. The pecan taste is not subtle. It is intense and actually sticks with you after you've eaten them (which is pretty common with pecans). I've always liked pecans but as I said the taste is not subtle. Over all they are REALLY good if you're looking for a really healthy and tasty snack. There isn't much out there in the lectin free world. All the Marigold stuff is too rich/oily/creamy for me. These work for me. I recommend them - just know they might be a bit too much for you.

I love the taste of this product. Taste more of the fig, which I love.I have to say however that I received my box of 15 and all had the bar in it except one. One package was completely empty. ;[

Tastes good, light wieght and easy to consume while hiking. Like the ingredients much better than other bars available at local retailers. We personally prefered the Thunderbird cherry and Thunderbird apricot bars. The kids didnt like this flavour as much

Before ordering product, I always check ingredients and calorie counts. This is advertised as 1.7 oz (48 g) having 148 calorie count. Unfortunately the product arrived as a 1.7 oz (48 g) but clearly states on package as 220 calories. Of course, all other numbers referencing fat, saturated fat, etc are all increased. I believe this is false advertising.

Like bar size, texture and taste. But each bar had a few tiny hard sharp pieces? Usually 2. Some like squares. But hurt if you bite into.
