King of the Comics: One Hundred Years of King Features Syndicate (The Library of American Comics) Hardcover – 13 Oct. 2015

Excellent history of newspaper strips from the start. I've got a large collection of Comic history's and this one is up there with the best of them. Crammed full of all the goodies as well as lesser known examples, and I do mean crammed. Another reviewer criticised how difficult it was reading some of the strips, but I never felt this. There was soooo much to enjoy.

A great book throughly enjoyed it (arrived in time for Christmas) a trip down memory lane as a boy i used to buy the Sunday Funnies from our local market hall,this book brought it all back,just wish there was a companion volume on United Features comic strips
