This is great for extending the use of the switch when away from a wall socket or not docked.The default battery only lasts 2-3 hours depending on the type of game you're playing, this can extend it for up to 10hours between charges.Long use does make it start to ache on the hands/wrists a little, just due to the battery weight, but this isn't anything I didn't expect, and isn't a major problem, might be a bit uncomfortable for smaller children, however.The way it attaches is pretty good and comes with a bracket to stay on the back of the switch, the only slight issue I have is where the connector folds inside the battery for storage/transportation etc, due to the way it has to be removed, it can strain the connector if not careful. Having this re-enforced slightly would be a huge benefit, but just being careful with how you remove from the battery makes it not too much of an issue. For the price, and how handy this is, it's not something im concerned about.

It's expensive like most Nintendo stuff is but it works really well, the battery connects to the back of the switch and does not interfer with gaming I would recommend.

I bought this to charge my Switch on the go and it lasted the whole trip, it makes the switch a bit heavier but it's worth the slight loss of comfort for a ton of battery life.

Easy to charge, fits OLED perfectly well, some reviews complain its uncomfortable due to weight added to rear of switch but what do u expect from adding a powebank?! .. i did not experience any discomfort, only additional weight. so far at 3 weeks usage (2 x 10hr trips abroad) i have more than enough power,, (trip 1 - I used 75% of the switch battery in few hours then attached the powerbank and used for aprx 4hrs total and had aprx50-60% left in the power bank) i did not charge the power bank and was able to use it for another 4hrs on the return journey and still have 25% showing as remaining.

Was a great little product while it lasted, but sadly after about 10 months it stopped working and won't charge the switch anymore.*edit: in case it helps anyone else, the external cable on the side of the battery pack wasn't charging the switch any longer. However since posting the above review I found another integrated cable at the bottom which is built into the unit. You pull it out and using this integrated cable instead seems to be charging it okay again.

Very useful for those long sessions when gaming away from a power source. I like the hidden USB-C cable that tucks away neatly when not in use. It does add a bit of weight when it's attached to the back of the console and in handheld mode too. I this with me every time my Switch goes out with me.
