This is a really nice serum that is lightweight and feels comfortable on the skin. My skin can be prone to irritation from retinol, but this one hasn’t caused any. It seems to have done a great job with giving a brightening effect to my skin and also giving it a shot of much needed hydration. And especially considering the amount you get in the bottle, the price point is more than reasonable.

This serum applies more like a lotion and it did not irritate my skin. I did have a little bit of skin sloughing off at first, but I used a gentle exfoliator and used a heavier moisturizer on top of the serum and it stopped. After using half the bottle, I do feel like my skin has improved. I am in my late 30s, and I have noticed my skin looks less dull. It is expensive, but the price appears to be comparable to similar OTC products. Also, a little goes a long way so it has lasted a while for me. I have a prescription retinoid cream that is cheaper, but it's very harsh and I can't use it in the summer because it causes severe photosensitivity. So for now, I will continue using this product.

The Dr. Belmeur Red Pro-Retinol Serum comes well packaged within a sealed box. The instructions on the outside too small to read but on the bottle are clear. The bottle is attractive on the outside and when you take the cap off, there is a white plastic pump. The pump works well and I needed three or four pumps of the serum to do my neck and face. I applied the serum after cleansing and using toner. I didn't experience any reactions or sensitivities while using the serum. Applying moisturizer over the serum was no problem as it absorbs fairly quickly. The scent was fresh and dissipated shortly after applying. Nice product!

I tucked a bottle of Dr. Belmeur Red Pro-Retinol serum into my swim bag to use after swimming laps in a chlorinated pool three mornings weekly. I have mature, sensitive skin that tends toward dryness, so chlorinated water, combined with exposure to indoor heat in the winter, take their toll. Happily, this gentle retinol serum helps mitigate the drying forces my skin is subjected to. It glides on smoothly, absorbs well without leaving a sticky residue, and has a subtle, pleasant scent that doesn't cloy or linger annoyingly. As a base layer under a vitamin C day moisturizer, it leaves my skin looking and feeling firmer and more evenly textured.The Dr. Belmeur product line belongs to The Face Shop brand of Korean skincare products. It's formulated for sensitive & problem skin, and is purportedly "dermatologically tested" (but spoiler alert: there is no eponymous Dr. Belmeur). The price point is a bit high, but a little goes a long way and it performs exactly as I had hoped it would.

I enjoy the product. Retinol, in my opinion, is a critical ingredient to be incorporated in any skin care routine. I use prescription tretinoin, and was looking for a more gentle product to use on the nights where I want to give my skin a rest from my perspiration. This product does the trick!! It is gentle enough to use in tandem with my heavy hitting retinol without causing any additional redness or irritation.I have heard of this brand, but not used it before. I would be curious to try some of their other products after using this one! This is a korean brand, which is my preference over American skin care brands. I feel that products, generally speaking, from that part of the world tend to be formulated with more care and perform better.It also helps that the packaging is pretty, for me that adds to the experience of my overall routine.I took away 1 star because I feel that the product is overpriced, however it looks like what they've done (at the time of this posting in Jan 2024) is marked the price up higher, and then put a 30% discount on it. Anywho, I am not sure what it comes out to with the 30% discount, but I would have a hard time spending $50 on it. That said, I do think it's a good product!

I use this serum before my moisturizer every night before bed.retinol serum can cause sun sensitivity and more uv damage to skin.it helps to reduce fine lines .

The Dr. Belmeur Pro-Retinol serum is cream type product that comes dispensed from a pump. The whole package is actually quite attractive with the red bottle and box. The serum works similarly to other serums where you work this into your skin following a wash. This serum absorbs quite easily and does a good job of moisturizing. I didn't have any adverse reactions to this. My skin felt soft after using this.

This is a fairly gentle formula which works well with my sensitive skin. I haven't noticed any irritation or breakouts because of it and it absorbs well while leaving my skin feeling moisturized and smooth. I would recommend this product!
