I have owned several pet\kitty fountains over the years. I stopped mostly because they were always a PITA to take apart and clean fully with all of the nooks and crannies - even if they could go in the dishwasher. I'm about 3 weeks in and love this fountain. The kitties love the fountain. I was hesitant about the plastic insert to hold the filter, but because it can also go in the dishwasher as well, it can get sanitized. I like that there's very little waste with the filters, that is a pre-filter + carbon + ion exchange resin AND a prefilter on the pump. They even include what you need to clean the pump quite well (a small brush and tweezers to remove the impeller). I was surprised by not only how quiet the pump is (you really hear the water movement, not the pump) but als how long the battery lasted. A full 2 weeks and still no lights indicating it needs to be charged (I charged it anyway while I was running the parts through the dishwasher). I set it with the motion sensor which is perfect. I know at least 2 of the 3 kitties are drinking lots more water. One kitty definitely gets "whisker" fatigue and he loves to drink from the spout. I also love that it doesn't splash so kitties that don't want to drink from the spout can drink from it (I have 3). And to have no wires for kitties to chew on - priceless! I also like the design of the battery\controller for the pump. It seems well executed (we'll see in a year). I scoured the current designs and this seemed like the best of what is currently available IMO. I'd prefer the filter tray also be stainless, but that's not minor enough for me to remove a star. All in all, I feel it was $$ well spent and would recommend this fountain if you're in the market.

We've had the Feelneedy cat fountain for over a year and it has been one of my best cat purchases! We have 3 cats, one of which is diabetic, and another with thyroid issues. Both drink A LOT of water! Bowls were just not cutting it anymore. We love this fountain so much we just bought a second one for the upstairs. Set up: The fountain is SUPER easy to set up right out of the box. Give it a quick wash, soak the filter, fill it up and you're in business! Righ out of the box the pump had a decent amount of battery life as well. Cleaning: We used to have a Drinkwell fountain, and it had so many nooks and crannies it was so difficult to keep clean that we went back to the bowls. The Feelneedy fountain is super easy to clean with a regular kitchen sponge, and they include a spoolie (mascara wand) for the few smaller areas which are easy to clean. Don't forget to pull the small filter in the bottom of the pump out when cleaning it! It's easy to miss! Volume: We have three cats that drink a lot of water, we only can go a few days with out needing to fill it up. Settings/Battery: The pump can run on a continuous setting, intermittent, or motion activated. We run ours on motion activated, and it turns on quickly. The overall sound is gentle and quite relaxing. I generally keep the pumps plugged in so I never have to worry about charging them. We just went through a big move, and had them running unplugged for a few weeks and didn't need to charge them during that time. Overall our cats love this fountain, and we love how low maintaince it is! Cannot reccomend this one enough!

I think this water fountain is pretty darn great. This is the second one that I’ve had and the ability to fill up a vast quantity of water and hold the charge are both top level. My cats and my dog all drink out of this. Easy to clean. Not messy. Animals like it. Not something I have to mess with on the daily. I would give this more than five stars if I could.

This fountain is really quiet, perfectly sized and easy to clean. The battery charge is long lasting on sensor mode. Which is why I am giving it a high rating. However, I didn’t like how the filter packets made the water taste and smell very chemically. Easy enough to solve by not using the packet. I did return the product, only because my cats wouldn’t use it. Otherwise really great. I ordered the white one. It was all plastic except the water tray, that was metal.

I have no complaints about this item at all so far. Easy to set up. Charging was a breeze. Came with filters but I purchased more at the same time so I would have them. I set it to motion and the charge lasts for weeks. It is quiet and my cat definitely has been drinking more. I have already recommended this to other people. Cleaning is also easy. Would buy this again if I needed to

I've had this fountain for about a few weeks now. Definitely the best fountain I've purchased. It's very easy to clean. There aren't a bunch of small pieces that need to be cleaned. It's cordless so my cats can't chew on it anymore. The battery lasts a very long time. I would highly recommend!

I have a cat that chews cords , this works perfect , no cords. He also dumps his water dish, those days are now over.
