Birds absolutely love it.
This was immediately a huge hit with the birds and no squirrels or larger birds are able to access it although the pigeons eat all the dropped seed underneath. The only thing that I struggle with is that small plastic ring which is quite difficult to put in place and doesn’t really fit snugly.

Works really well.
The hairy-tailed tree-rats are furious and hungry. Having paid £59.99 on Amazon dismayed to see exactly the same brand and model advertised in the press for £35.00.

It does work...
I've got two of these feeders and they do keep the squirrels at bay.I feed only sunflower hearts and the feeders attract plenty of finches, tits, robins and occasionally nuthatches and woodpeckers - this in SE London. The feeders have weathered fairly well. After two years they are still working and the plastic tube and metal bits are still intact. The green paint has faded in the sun. They do need to be cleaned every few weeks, which is a bit of a chore. Despite the advertising blurb, you do get a build up of detritus in the bottom which can congeal and go mouldy. The plastic tube also gets dirty inside and is not that easy to clean. I use a bottle brush and a stick. For something so large it is a shame that they only have two ports. The birds have to queue for an opportunity and larger birds such as finches tend to hog the perches to the exclusion of others.Pretty expensive at £33, although I see some other company is selling something similar for £80! How ridiculous is that?I've tried a variety of other feeders and I would say that in terms of longevity and anti-squirrel properties this is the best so far.

Rusting already and not proof against memebers of the Crow family
These looked so good, I bought 3. However, after only 12 months, they are rusty and becoming sharp all around the top cowls' bottom edge. A better choice of metal would have prevented this. Powder coatings always fail on sharp edges. Most disappointing is that they are no match for Rooks, Jack Daws and Magpies that can hover and flick the seed out onto the ground, or they fly up from below and knock the feeders and the seeds fall out. The feeders are empty within a couple of hours. The smaller birds stand no chance! So I cannot say they are good value or worth the high price.

Great bird feeder!
While it took the birds a little while to start using it, they now can't stay off it. The fact that it's so large means I don't anticipate having to fill it too often, which is handy. I am using plain sunflowers seeds (so not a seed mix) and the birds just love them!

Does stop squirrels, but the amount of seed spilled it doesn't need to get to the feeder.
It is a sturdy bird feeder, had for 6 months after other feeders had been destroyed by squirrels. This does, so far, stand up well to squirrels but it does have very heavy spillage onto the ground so the local squirrels don't need to try to break into the feeder there's more than plenty of seed on the ground!Overall it is on the expensive side but is the sturdiest of feeders I've bought, however, it is very messy with a high amount birdseed ending up wasted. So debatable if it's worth the cost - Yes, it survives the squirrel against the extra cost of much more birdseed being wasted.

So far so good
The squirrels and mice haven't managed to damage this feeder so far.

Well-made, Squirrel Proof and Climate Resistant feeder
I have owned many feeders over 20+ years (including Bromo) and this is the best so far at deterring squirrels. I have owned the feeder for almost three months now and have yet to see a squirrel successfully feed from it. Mostly, they don't even try - and my backyard squirrels are a wiley bunch that have never before backed down from a challenge. An added plus is that due to its funnel shaped design with a small baffle directly above the feeder openings, is that the seed stays dry. We have had major rainstorms with wind here since I hung out the feeder and it is the only one of my feeders that has kept the seed dry. I am impressed (and I am not easily impressed). Will certainly be a repeat customer.

Super
