my personal experience was dissapointing.
my experience was: disappointed. This cable connect to the AMI system, the car radio sees it, the phone battery starts charging, but when it comes to sound it did not work. easy to install? yes, however it is tricky to remove.

Good Quality, but not the easiest install.
It is a good product and does a good job, the challenge is the 2015 VW GTI infotainment system was designed to best run on blue tooth, so the cable is best used as an in car charger.
