Perfect for Toyota 4th Gen 4Runner. Some CV axles come out easier than others, mine had been replaced previously and were not as easy as the stock axles. No prybar would work. No local shop had the right size opening tool- I checked 5 near me with no luck. This fit perfectly to my slide hammer, fit the outgoing part well, and enabled me to change my parts quickly. It's all about using the right tool for the right job. So if your CV axle has a shaft diameter of ~2.5"... Get this. It worked and made the job quick. Also, the cost for these is super cheap considering the effort and time it saves. Well worth putting in your tool box.

The construction is a bit cheap feeling, like good old Chinesium alloy, but so far it's held up surprisingly well. As far as function, this tool is definitely worth keeping in the box, because it will save you when you get those bs axles you can't access with a bar or hammer. It's a bit difficult to maneuver into tighter spaces, but when you get it in there, it works, no questions asked. Worth the money.

I had an axle that was stuck and I couldn’t get it out. Tried everything including the claw looking thing that goes on the end of a breaker bar. Ordered this and it still took a little work but this did remove it.

Pretty easy to use and it really does make a huge difference in time saving when you use the right tool. The only thing that would make it better is if it included the other part of the tool that holds the weight.

Technically it was not designed for my car. 2017 Ford Escape 4WD but it did the trick when trying to get the rear axle's removed. Would not have gotten them off without this product.
