Easy to assembly and all parts included. Great for small space that doesn't allow nightstands. Two people makes the assembly easy.

I got rid of a massive wall unit style headboard and replaced it with this. The difference is immense for me.Assembly was pretty straightforward. Took me about 30 min, by myself. Having a friend would probably cut this time in half, since it's pretty much just some symmetrical screwing. The headboard came very well packaged and the instructions were clear and simple.Once assembled, I applied some felt pads to the bottoms because I don't like just rubbing against wood like that. I moved it into place and placed my bed in front of it. Easy breezy.Now, the shelves on the sides are a great feature but I just wish they were a tad bigger. Maybe half inch wider or a few inches deeper. It's just been hard to find a container that I can fit in there because of the measurements. I did find something at the container store so I'm using that. This space allows me to keep some odds and ends close to me.My first gripe with this headboard was the lack of any kind of bumper or something for the wall. Many people have a baseboard moulding, so if you place this against a wall, and then sit back on it while in bed, you will feel the headboard rock a bit. I don't like this because that can obviously mess up the item (especially if you have the bed frame mounted to the headboard) and it can ruin the wall. My solution was to add small rubber feet that are almost the exact distance from the wall as the moulding. This helped.Another thing that I didn't care much for is the USB ports. I was very excited about it, but there were no photos of where they'd be. I assumed they were in one of the shelves or maybe on the top shelf, but they're actually a completely separate device from the bed. They require their own installation and you place them wherever you need them. This is fine, but I would have preferred there be a sort of cut out for it somewhere. Not a huge issue. I actually didn't even end up using it and just placed my Anker USB strip on the shelf instead.Overall I still really like the headboard. I like the size and the look of it and it really makes the room feel bigger in comparison to my previous huge headboard. There is even a decent amount of space under the headboard which can be used for storage. I currently have a spare TV under there and a few shoeboxes.

Very happy with this piece. We bought it for a bed that has a type of frame that has no way to attach a headboard to it, so we needed a freestanding headboard. This has fit the bill admirably. It's very solid once together, and stands on its own without supports; nevertheless, to keep it from rocking or bumping the wall behind it, we got wall bumpers for it to brace it between the wall and the bed frame, and it's like a rock. We really appreciate that It has storage, like a bookcase headboard, but it's not front-facing and somewhat concealed. This is both sharper looking, and doesn't result in dropping items on the sleeper's head. Assembly was pretty reasonable, though I do recommend paying attention to other Amazon reviews for some pointers. A few of the holes were not drilled as precisely aligned as we would have liked, and one of the bits of hardware seemed slightly damaged but we were able to bend it back into position with pliers and use it fine, and it was all tremendously solid when we got it together. Note that this may be a bit heavier than you expect a headboard to be, because it is a bookcase headboard, and perhaps a more substantial piece of furniture than it first appears.

The headboard meets my needs for something simple and compact with storage, but some of the pieces were cut wrong in the factory. As seen in photos, there are six shelf pieces that should all be identical. Three are the correct length and three are about a half inch too long. Will have to hope they have good customer service to remedy this.

For a good company the quality should be better and should be manufactured better. Having the holes line up and make sure all the necessary pieces are in the box. Had to wait almost 2 months for pieces to arrive and I had to go through Ashley to request for the pieces. Amazon do not take care of it for you. They tell you where to request.

I like that I can put Kleenex and other items inside the little cubbies on the side and nothing is visible. Had to buy a bed frame separately tho

No help from company or Amazon. I did not want to return it after it was put together except for last part. I was given the wrong screws, wrong advice and then told to return it even though I wanted to keep it. Terrible
